A Ryzen 9 7950x with an RTX 4090 is apparently not high end enough for this game.

compiled shaders -> played 10 min -> crashed
installed new gpu driver -> compiled shaders again -> played 10 min -> crashed again
verified game files -> compiled shaders a 3rd time -> played 10 min -> crashed entire pc

EDIT: Its fixed for me now. The game is great overall, just make sure your PC can handle it.

Its trash. ♥♥♥♥ maps, ♥♥♥♥ performance on high end PCs, barely any guns, only 2 modes...

I do not want 1000 guns or 500 different t shirts, I want to walk down some stairs without breaking my leg!

First of all, I want to say, that I bought this game during the early access alpha.

After I stopped playing it back then because of problems like the horrible performance, my rank getting reset (after reaching level 60) and some the changes to the deathmatch, this week was the first time I tried it out again and I have to say that it has become a fantastic game!

The Frontlines mode is by far the most realistic experience I have had in a long time. In some aspects it is just like Red Orchestra 2 during WW1.
Nearly all guns are one hit kill and there are dynamic waves of attacks you have to carry out or fight off.
If you do not play as a team, you will die and die and die some more times...
If you do play as a team, you will have to use gas, mortars etc. to advance and capture the enemy trenches.

After all i can say that this game has come a long way and will continue to do so! It is one of the most realistic FPS already, but I can see it becoming even better, since the developers have prooved their abilities in the past development already!

If you are looking for a realistic, brutal, historical WW1 FPS, this is your game!

10/10 would by again, even for more money!
