NetEase needs to get their mobile slop with their predatory microtransactions off of the PC markets. They're running a Twitch Drops event that doesn't even support steam accounts as well.

I do not agree to binding arbitration, Binding Arbitration needs to be made illegal.

- Game doesn't support auto-login, forcing me out of the game just to log in every time to load a web browser for account sync.
- Most event pages are HTML/Electron garbage in an embedded chromium window, which also interrupts the flow of gameplay.
- trash energy system to force you to wait and keep you glued to the game over an excessive amount of time with their excessively long timers.
- After interacting with above electron/embedded chromium stupidity, the game can and will eventually just crash on you.
- Constantly bombards me to "Buy this pack now"

Even though the game is purchased through steam, ubisoft forces you to download and install their stupid ubisoft connect launcher to launch the game from. This is idiotic, stupid and unnecessary.

THIS is how a remake SHOULD be done, Square. The upgrades to the gameplay fit in a way that doesn't detract or hinder the original vision of the game from back then, but also adds in a TON of much-needed QoL that allows the story to really shine. This, in my honest opinion, is how a remake SHOULD be done, nothing like the abomination that is the Final Fantasy 7 Remake that it has evolved in to.

Amazing game. Well worth the $15 for it.
