The negative review isn't based on my game play. I have not yet played the game because of some issues causing it to freeze 5 mins into the game.

A bit of searching shows the issue is caused by windows 11 24H2 update. But it's been more than 2-3 months since the update went live and as per reddit, people have been having issues since then.

Patch the game Ubisoft!

I don't really play too many soft porn games but this one had a decent-ish story and the dating felt organic and not like another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ simulator. The coversations aren't too bad either with your partner(s). Overall, this might be the first "adult" game I really enjoyed.

For me, there was a bug towards the end though where I can't take izzy to luigi's. The game would just throw a big error message and I'd have to reload a save. This prevented me from fully dating izzy. Was able to finish with all the rest of the partners. Hope to see that get fixed in the next update.

Kudos to RJ Rhodes for making this game pretty good and that too free.

THE DEFINITIVE WAY TO PLAY GTA SA IF YOU DON'T WANT THE HASSLE OF MODDING THE OG GAME

Now I agree, I was among the critics of this game and the state they launched it in. Took them 3 years to fix this mess but here we are and the way it is right now, I can recommend it. I'll break it down why:

WHAT'S GOOD:

- The original game albeit has better "nostalgic feels" but it could be somewhat of a minor inconvenience modding it to look to modern standard. If you're someone like me who doesn't like the hassle, I can say after the latest update, this game is almost there.

- Most of the animations are fixed now, the classic lighting option brought back the OG games feels and I'm all for it.

- The performance is also good enough after a minor fix (mentioned at the last) and almost 0 crashes.

MINOR NITPICKS:

- Most character models are fine but some of them look absolutely cursed (for example: the fat ballas gang member, denise, some NPCs, etc.). I don't think rockstar is gonna fix it at this point but it does look ugly at times.

- The latest update fixed many broken animations (CJ crouching, swimming, etc.) but some weird animations still exist.

VERDICT:

This game (the entire trilogy) is a recommend from me on a sale as I feel it is now at a point where you can just install it and play it (with the classic lighting option enabled) and it feels like the right mix of modern and OG game feels. Rating - 8/10.

Here's my suggested settings to get the best experience;
- use the command "-dx12" (without the quotes) in steam's additional command space
- run the game on high preset but turn off DLSS and turn down any sorta reflections to medium (ignore this if you have a beefy system)
- by default, the game sets the contrast at 50%. turn it down to 30%. it fixes the dark character models appearing too dark.

Don't let the negative reviews deter you from buying the game. I played this game in May 2023 after the Jan patch which fixed all the launch issues this game had with audio and sync and glitches. I feel now this is the definitive way to play XIII as the original one, although has its charm, is a bit of a chore to get to work properly (downgrading to gog version, widescreen fixes and all).

The game is 90% off at the time of writting this review and totally worth it. GO FOR IT!

So this is a decent remaster of the already excellent Horizon Zero Dawn game. I played it on a laptop with RTX 3070ti (8gb VRAM), ADM Ryzen 7 6800H and 16gb RAM at 1440p. High preset, certain settings set to medium and dynamic DLSS. Avg FPS for me was around 55 with dips to 45s (not too often but during combat and city lights).

But then again, I played on a laptop, not a beefy PC. The performance was almost equivalent to the OG game when I dropped the preset to medium whilst still looking almost the same as High settings.

Pros:

- The graphics now look like Forbidden West, especially the facial animations
- If you own the original HZD game on steam, it'll let you import your saves. I imported my previously completed game and everything was just as I left it.
- This appears to be well optimised game. Almost consistent 55-60 FPS.
- The facial animation now look like Forbidden West, which is top notch.
- DLSS implemented very well.

Cons:

- Requires signing in to PSN account which was a minor nuisance at the starting of the game

- Even though the game let's you transfer saves, the achievements you have in the original game DOES NOT transfer to the remaster. You'll have to earn them again. A slight bummer.

Overall a really decent remaster. I'll still say it, HZD didn't really need a remaster but what we got is also not that bad.

NOW PLEASE RELEASE BLOODBORNE TO PC ASAP!!!!!!

This game has my respect, trust me. But F Take 2 Interactive. The game used to cost ₹3199 in India which is expensive but still considerable at a decent discount and this game fully redeems the price tag.

But yesterday, they quietly increased the price from ₹3199 to ₹4999 which is a freaking 56% hike in price. What are they even thinking? That's like more than a week's worth salary of an average Indian.

Do they not care about us people in developing nations? There are a lot of us who buy games but by doing this, T2I/Rockstar Games, you are just actively discouraging the few of us who buy the games legally.

Honestly, F you T2I. Shame on you guys.

A really good game about various thought experiments put together in form of mini games. The narrator's narration is quite funny (not as good as the narrator of the game "dude, stop!", but good enough).
No bugs encountered as such.
Just one feedback: please change the description of the "backstage" achievement. It currently says "thank you for buying the OST and supporting our composer". It sounds very misleading and implies you get the achievement for buying the OST (which was what I did initially). But it's not that, something else.
My rating: 8/10 solid

A very good immersive game that hits the feels of the classic FPS game "XIII" and also comic book style narration. Story also felt pretty good.
Now to episodes 2 and 3, "Come to Papa" (in Mike's voice) XD

It's a pretty good game for what it's worth. Exactly what it is advertised as. Don't know what is overwhelmingly positive about it though. You play a couple of times and it gets boring within 30 mins because that's all there is to this game (win/lose 3 rounds and game over). Not saying it's bad, though.

Bought it because it was cheap and good enough to give a thumbs up.

An amazing boomer-shooter with a creepy doom meets soviet union vibe to it. Even during early access, all the levels and controls felt so polished and the little easter eggs here and there were so fun to discover. It has everything that a gamer would want - good and polished gameplay, secret areas, easter eggs, steam achievements and trading cards. Kudos to the solo dev for developing such a fun and "complete game" in a time of bad pc ports. Will definitely recommend picking it up even on full price.
