I mean its pretty good

Lobbies plagued by hackers and an insane learning curve

The game is a straight up upgrade from Frostpunk 1. The politics and managing factions is an excellent addition. Nothing from Frostpunk 1 comes close to the feeling of manipulating the council into giving you more and more power until you eventually seize it all. The resource management and balancing act between your different colonies, exploring the Frostland and finding all of the locations from the first game are all very well done. The research makes you pick who to side with, and if you only lean on one side you will anger the other faction. However maxing out either side of the tech trees gives massive bonuses. You can definitely try to be a paragon of diplomacy and peace, but where's the fun in that?

I can only imagine what modders will come up with, but the replayability is already here with an endless mode featuring completely new factions and communities not seen in the main story.
