Revitalizes the old super chatroom vibes. Only game where I can share my weed with friends while fishing.

The remastered version of Dead Rising is a faithful upgrade that captures the essence of the original while introducing several welcome quality-of-life improvements. One of the standout enhancements is the improvement to the survivor AI, which is a significant step up from the often frustrating behavior in the original. Survivors are now more responsive and easier to guide, making escort missions far more manageable and enjoyable.

The developers deserve praise for staying true to the core experience while introducing subtle yet meaningful updates. Graphical improvements and smoother performance breathe new life into the zombie-filled Willamette Mall. At the same time, new features and additions blend seamlessly with the original gameplay, making this remaster a treat for both longtime fans and newcomers alike. It's a great example of how a remaster should be handled, respecting the source material while modernizing the experience for today's players.

As a child, Dead Rising was more than just a game; it was an escape into a world where I could be the hero, fighting against overwhelming odds. The thrill of exploring the mall, discovering new weapons, and rescuing survivors left an indelible mark on my gaming journey. The game's blend of horror, humor, and action captivated my imagination and provided countless hours of entertainment.

Reflecting on my experiences with Dead Rising, I am filled with a sense of nostalgia and gratitude. The game not only tested my skills and patience but also taught me the value of perseverance and strategy. It was a formative part of my childhood, shaping my love for video games and storytelling.

Dead Rising remains a beloved classic, not just for its innovative gameplay and challenging achievements but also for the lasting impact it had on me and many others. The memories forged in the halls of Willamette Mall will forever be cherished, a testament to the power of video games to inspire, challenge, and entertain. Thank you, Dead Rising, for the unforgettable journey and the timeless adventures.

If you're looking for a fun and chaotic game to play with friends, Plate Up is a must-try! This cooperative cooking game will have you and your friends laughing, shouting, and frantically trying to keep up with customer orders. The best part? Playing it with my fiancé turned our living room into a virtual restaurant, complete with hilarious kitchen disasters and triumphant high-fives. The game's charm lies in its ability to turn simple tasks into teamwork challenges, making it perfect for any group of friends. So grab your aprons and get ready for a deliciously good time!

From Mavelon Creek to PSN Revolution - this game depicts democracy perfectly. The developers have always continued to support this game despite being bagged with the higher powers that be. God speed devs and god bless this community for banding together in one voice. Just remember, "The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth."

Early Access Review
Does this game have potential? Give it 6 months and I think this game will hopefully be far more optimized have a more reliable network to support the servers. Most positive reviews are from those angry with Battlestate; primary reason MADFINGER wanted to open the flood gates knowing that the current build is not suitable for the $35 price tag. Whereas, most negative views stem from poor performance; making several folks go out of their way to harass the development team. Both of which are annoying af and not helpful in providing feedback to the devs to further flesh out the game. They have a solid base yet, lackluster debut to their extraction shooter enthusiasts.

Would I recommend this game? If you are interested in supporting the development team and getting yourself early access to GZM, go for it. If you're debating on saving money, take the latter and wait for the full release. This staged release is a simple cash grab yet, the base gameplay loop has been enjoyable outside of going AFK in a new town to avoid getting popped while your computer compiles local shaders.

I am frustrated that the development team haven't implemented a dedicated shader cache that would drastically improve frame rates. Let alone the idea that they didn't release a public beta (even a weekend to stress test servers) to gather a general consensus of potential issues outside of their vertically sliced (controlled) areas that they had influencers "test". They knew the hype was there, along with the frustration. Get your bag but, don't forget your promises. You have a solid game and I hope I don't regret saying that I am excited to see this game fully release.

Biggest gripes at the moment (not performance)
  • Guns and character movement feel floaty - similar to a scuffed Halo.
  • The pistol deserves more love and attention. More recoil than the AK.
  • Inconsistent lootable items in the world.
  • Unable to loot dropped bags without equipping them or putting them into your backpack first.
  • Static LZ's - Want player loot? Pop open a separate tab and pull up the game map. Walk to other factions' LZ and pop them as the heli pilot drops them right into your lap. Would love to see procedural LZs based on a player designated LZ in a pickup/dropoff sector.

Re-branded the original MW2 to Call of Duty [COD HQ] to hide the negative reviews that plague the store page. Hard to stomach that this company has fallen so far from grace. They're already pushing out another regurgitated, remaster to siphon any money from the remaining player base. Not to mention the cannibalistic store that has begun releasing obscure packs to begin pushing away the base audience. Last CoD I will ever buy.
