As a solo player early game was good, unfortunatly as with most survivals as soon as you hit the higher tier servers you just prey.

Even myself not wearing armour, wielding an axe and slowly wandering in my firefly walker it took just 5 minutes before a group of 5 harpooned my walker and bashed my skull in to steal everything. After that they then blew my walker to pieces. Not even gonna bother rebuilding as i'll probably get killed before i've even finished putting the legs on a new walker. There is no incentive not to attack anyone and everyone.

So obviously I won't be playing again until they bring out community servers.

Felt i was a bit disingenous when writing this, especially after getting zerged. This is an early access game and it shows. However it actually is one of the most enjoyable games I have played in a while.

Getting zerged is always a low point but with a bit of research the blame was solely mine. There were preventive actions i could of taken but was not aware of at the time and therefore my mindset has changed regarding solo playing.

Things will take 5x as long, you spend the majority of your time hiding, waiting, quietly stealing but overall you make progress and that is the most important point about this all. This game will always be excrutiatingly difficult for solo players but.... but... the feeling you get when you outrun a zerg, or being surround and smashing people of mountains is second to none.

I would recommend waiting another month or so until servers are a bit more stable but it is defo worth purchasing this game.

Unable to connect due to VAC issue and yet you still throw me into a competitive matchmaking game. Then when trying to reconnect same error again. Check the support guide that says i need to close down and verify game files and reopen.

Reopen and then on competitive matchmaking ban.
