the more I play this video game, the less braincells I have.

Found the remains of Sans and Papyrus.
And much more.
Also got school shot by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dog war machine

this game doesn't even recognise my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stick as a controller, and I am forced to play with RTZG as the movement controls on keyboard, I hate this game

You know, I only have 2 games stories to finish, this one and tekken 6. Buy Tekken 8.

in all honesty, not necessarily, the game is just not enough of a good experience for me to recommend to Yakuza or RPG fans.
Due to the fact it's still got a good gameplay loop, or at least enough to keep me satisfied.
So I'll just rate some small positives about the game

• The RPG element of the game was drastically improved upon and expanded
  
• Hawaii was a blast to explore
  
• Means of transportation was better
  
• The area felt more alive
  
• Segway
  
• The interaction between party members were golden

this brings me on to my next point.
First let me bring up the game itself. It's story while I did not dislike all that much, was mediocre at best. That in itself isn't all that bad, if it wasn't for the fact it felt like it had no purpose, all of the characters that were introduced had zero to no purpose in the story, and the ones that did, either died in 1 chapter, or were Dio. No in between.
My main grudge with the game is how they brought back Kiryu. I have to be careful writing ♥♥♥♥ here to not spoil anything, and or spoiler it...
I understand that letting go of a beloved character like Kiryu is hard for SEGA, but I didn't understand why he needed to be a part of the story. especially considering the fact he got discarded to go to Ijincho and Kamurocho in the 5th or 6th chapter of the game.
But I digress. Even if going through his old memories and reliving the Kiryu moments was fun. Playing his part in an RPG element was depressing and disappointing to say the least.

that pretty much sums up all my non gameplay related grudges.
I do believe the segway could've been done better, going on and off it is a hassle. Needing to recharge it is dumb. It being kind of slow is disappointing. You cannot even wave to people while on the segway.
Swimming being advertised also played an underwhelming part in the game.
the WHOLE OF DONDOKO ISLAND CAN GO KILL ITSELF.

Feel bad for the people who lived in Japan for the release of 7. But now with the series being so streamlined the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people outside have to experience the same thing. This point is so redundant to the point like 21387929873 other people have discussed it, and I only bring it up because I feel like addressing I dislike it.

anyway. I enjoy the game, but much like Gaiden. There would've been no difference if the games did not even exist.
You are missing out on nothing if you don't play them.
