I've played G-Mod horror maps better then this...

TLDR; As a souls vet. (Mostly console) The DLC does not feel rewarding and runs like poopoo. But let's all suck off FromSoftware just because it's pretty and shiny.

I've just about beaten the DLC and I won't be putting anymore time into it. The performance is a joke. (I9 12900kf w/ 3080TI) The attack design of NPC's is terrible, everything has to have AOE even the most basic enemies. It's feels crappy to fight anything bigger than you in this DLC. No boss feels rewarding to kill in any capacity. It all feels like a slog fest which is not why I play souls games. I have thousands upon thousands of hours in gaming. I'm far from "casual" and even still this s**t is not it. I never would have expected saying this. FromSoftware dropped the ball. In worrying about the world design WHICH IS AMAZING BTW! They failed to work on mechanics enough. It's not the difficulty for me, I can push through the fights and eventually win every one of them, but, why would I? Every time I've opened Elden Ring since the DLC came out I've closed it feeling worse then when I opened it. That is not what gaming is about...

The bot problem has largely been fixed. Though it shouldn't have taken all of this to do it...

This game has potential but it is horrific right now do not attempt to even try this game for another year or so. Also devs no one wants to play 100 hours before they can have a properly modified weapon or even a new one at that. No one cares for that kind of grind in a FPS this isn't WoW. Calm down and give us the tools we need to win a game with SKILL.

With almost 500 hours I only played the game for 4ish months literally had to stop cause of how amazingly addictive this game is... It was literally ruining my life at the end. I have made a literal rule to never play again. Love you Rust goodbye! <3

few years late now... Still played a little... Nice and buggy recommend to anyone who hates themselves.

As someone with curently 800 hours I believe I can sit down and write a accurate review of this game now.

Do I recommend this game? - Yes

What are the plus sides of this game? - It is constantly updating so unless you get bored of the genere as a whole youll never grow old of the game.

What do i benefit from playing this game? - Expansion of your mind to the frank. Since I started playing this game I think a WHOLE lot faster. My metal to action response time is 5 maybe even 6 times faster from what it used to be.

What is the draw backs of playing this game? - Time... 1 match can last up to a hour usually my longest match (which we won 2v5(I controlled 4 characters to do this)) lasted around 2 and a half hours.

What is the down side of this game? - Honestly, the fan base. Sadly to say this game has a very toxic fan base right along with CSGO and LoL. It can get pretty rough sometimes.

Overall the game is great and worth the time it takes to get over that HUGE learning curve. I recommend you find someone funny and good at the game and latch to them like a leach. Have fun in the world of DoTA 2.
