I used to think everything made by Paradox Interactive, my favourite gaming company, was innately great. While Crusader Kings II used to be an amazing game, it has declined over the past year. The DLC Charlemagne really showed that this game is fallible, and the most recent DLC released at the time of this review being written, Conclave, has really taken a lot of the uniqueness out of CK2. Many players, myself included, liked EU4 and CK2 for their own, seperate reasons. However, when Paradox started intergrating parts of EU4 like coalitions, shattered retreat and the dreaded council, it did not improve CKII whatsoever. It made taking land too punishing and vassals would constantly rebel. It became so ludicris that vassals hated you for holding too many titles, yet the council would get even more angry if you gave any of said titles away.

In order to have fun on teamspeak you cannot run conclave and run a massive amount of mods such as normal retreat, no coalitions, etc.

In its current state it is a 6/10, when running mods to fix Conclaves problems, it is an 8/10.

In my opinion, this is the best RTS, and perhaps best video game ever made. Despite being over a decade old, it still holds up as a great game which can be played over and over for hundreds, if not thousands of hours. The music and gameplay of this is excellent, and while the graphics may not be top-notch, they are decent for the game and allow it be played without much lag interruption. With 14 playable factions and multiple gamemodes, you'll stay interested and there is always something new to do with the excellent scenario making of this game.

I would rate this game 10/10. It is a masterpiece.

This game is hilarious. I love it, its worth the price of 5 dollars. You'll have loads of fun with your friends if someone else in your group gets it.

7/10

Rome Total War is perhaps the best of the Total War Series. What the newer Total Wars such as Empire and Shogun lack is unit variety. The advantage of Rome is that there are five main cultures, keeping the game much more interesting for much longer. The soundtrack is the best soundtrack ever in my opinion, and the fact that it rarely lags is a plus. While it lacks aspects of new total wars like multiplayer campaign, it makes up for it in quality and replayability.

I would rate this game 9/10. Theres just something indescribable about Rome Total War that differentiates it and puts it a tier higher from the other Total War games.

Mount and Blade Warband prides itself in two categories: the massive ability of modding and the fact that nearly everybody can run it. A common saying (but not its official motto) is that "if you can run that game, you can run warband. Not that the graphics are necessarily bad, they are average. The game has a mod for almost every time period in history and multiple movies and TV shows such as Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. Clan events ranging hundreds of people big can make this game extremely fun, though playing the single player is also a very fun option. You get so caught up in the single player that it feels like an hour has passed, yet its four hours later.

This game gets a solid 9/10. I have logged nearly 2000 hours over my three accounts on it and though its not my favorite game, its certainly up there.
