I wanted to love it, as it looked like a new game based on Ocean Tycoon (an old tycoon game I adored), and it definitely is not this. The load times were 10 minutes (4 to load the game, 3 to start a new game, crashed on first load), I played for 2 minutes (total playtime of 12 minutes apparently), and knew this isn't the game I was hoping it was sadly. I wouldn't refund it if it was 4.99 or less, but it is $10 even after being 60% off (I think) for the winter sale. Maybe others will enjoy it, but it isn't for me.

Wonderful game, extremely challenging on a blind first play through. It is definitely worth the effort though,

Combat mechanics are smooth and fun, climbing on the back of larger foes or grabbing smaller ones and throwing them off cliffs are always amusing. The DLC is included, allowing you to take on even greater challenge once you feel the game is getting easy. WRONG. Always something to challenge you, as you will also fight tooth and nail even against dragons, demons, death itself... and even yourself as a player, if you are so determined to continue playing over and over.

Pawns will be with you, which means it is good to start playing this game with another friend, or two, though you can't play directly co op, your secondary created character "Pawn" can be used by those on your friends list for free, which can make the game slightly easier, though there are many other ways to make it easier.

One big pro tip, don't bother reading tutorials or such, rather grind, and walk quest to quest. That is how I bested this game my first time, but to get all the achievements, it is possible to fast travel, but doing so will negate a lot of the game's hidden content which you may pass over if you don't explore every nook and cranny.

My favorite part of the game has to be the Character editor, lots of options. Lots of various items and gear, a lot more than other games, though some are just recolored or renamed, there are still at least a few hundred unique items (Mostly weapons and gear which all have custom unique models and such)

It is a very heavy grinding game if you use fast travel, which is why I recommend against it for your first play through. Lots of game mechanics feel backwards until you get to a much higher level, in which only then do they start making any sense.

Even now, with all but one achievement, there is still an enemy I cannot take down, which I plan to slowly over time.

One last thing, if you love Dungeons and Dragons, this is the PERFECT game for you, as you will encounter most big bads from D&D, as well as other classic monsters and such. The generic fantasy theme this game offers allows your imagination to pretend you are a character from your own world, or from D&D, or from any high fantasy game you can conjure up in your mind.

Ranks ever slightly higher than Skyrim in my mind, mostly due to combat, which is initially challenging, but becomes more rewarding and smooth as you improve your knowledge, skills, and equipment.

Best of luck to those wishing to play this game!

While I have found extremely rare bugs that already existed on the 360's version of Halo: Reach, I have overall enjoyed the game, though I would say I felt really disappointed it didn't launch with Forge.

I recommend buying if you are a fan of Halo, and also if it is your first time. However, if you wanted forge or theatre mode, you might want to hold out a bit if you don't care much for matchmaking or the campaign as much.

My clan, the Ninja Samurai Clan has recently been re-branded (Previously Ninja Star Clan), and were planning to make many maps like old times (10 years ago, wow it has been a while). I thought my favorite gaming series was dying after Halo 4, and dead after Halo 5. (Although the Forge mode was amazing, even Halo 5: Forge on the Microsoft App store wasn't bad at all). So until Halo Forge comes out, along with Theatre Mode, I cannot give my 100% recommendation to get this game yet, but that isn't holding me back from purchasing copies of the game for some of my clan mates and friends, I mean, it only is 10$ now, which is like 50$ less than what I paid for it on the Xbox 360. Sure it is old, but it is still gold.

Matchmaking is fairly straightforward, the auto aim is throwing me off as I am getting used to it all over again on controller, but I wish I knew how to change the aim system to not include it for best practice as Ghandi Hopping has always been a good way to prevent someone from finishing you off with a headshot on the xbox with auto aim. However, with mouse and keyboard, it now is as simple as point and click.

The map selection is very nice, and I have really enjoyed Griffball being included in some of the matchmaking modes (Hidden in Rumblesack and Social Slayer I think). The maps including vehicles seem well balanced (In comparison to Halo 3, where vehicles were not so balanced).

The biggest complaint I have is the really redundant armor unlock system. So much for fire fight voices. I unlocked them all, even Master Chief's voice for firefight on the 360. Now it is going to be way too long of a grind I think, and beating the game on legendary and even seeing the secret cutscene at the end showing master chief on the legendary ending on the right side of the Pillar of Autumn didn't earn me any credits for the "season unlock" system in place. The first day of this system was cool since you earned points based on skill, medals, kills, assists, etc. But now on days 2-3 it seems I always earn 8000 points, + a few more thousand each match, regardless of how well or how poorly I performed.

I been playing with friends, and it does remind me of old times. My boyfriend even been streaming the game, which is when I found a campaign breaking bug that I think was on the 360 in the past, where I couldn't see the map at all, only my spartan HUD and objective/ ally markers along with colored reticle with planet Reach in the background. Odd, but hey, doesn't ruin the overall experience for me.

In the end, I love Halo, and still hate how 343 ruined fair start matchmaking in Halo 4 (You could start with different weapons the enemy couldn't start with, and do minor upgrades to them too, how "competitive"). Halo 5 further with many of their unusual mechanics and choices, and the story line flop (First halo I never purchased, only got the free Forge version on PC, which was better without the matchmaking or campaign)

One technical issue I am having, if anyone knows anything about it. My controller doesn't let me walk forward and sprint (Original Xbox 360 Wired controller), and when I sprint, I have to sprint diagonally to the left, nearly crab walking but rather crab sprinting sideways in order to move faster, which is so bizzare and puts me at a significant disadvantage since many of the maps don't need sprinting, but players using such can sprint and punch, or run away, leaving me in awkward situations where I cannot assassinate other players. If I run forward, it doesn't let me activate sprint. All other armor abilities work, and my controller works normally, allowing me to move forward without being slowed down, just when sprinting, I have to go sideways now, which is useful to dodge opponents' bullets, but horrible for every other situation you can think of.

I hope to see more friendly faces play with me in Halo: MCC. I am finally glad to see it on PC, a 10+ year long dream finally fulfilled.

The game used to play fine, but now won't register my steam account, and when I reset my password, all my in game items disappeared. I used to play on browser, but then bought the steam edition a long time ago when they did a promo to get some in game coins. Now I have neither, and cannot start a game, and also cannot repurchase the store items even when I tried giving me a really weird error message that flashes for a moment, followed by another saying I need to connect my steam account, which asks yes or no, I clicked yes, and also tried no on other attempts, but neither options do anything for me.

This was a fun game for mafia, but bots, this glitches, and the sometimes toxic community has made it unplayable, I only wish I could get a refund or get it to work to play with my friends.

One of my favorite games of all time. Not much more to say, other than I essentially 100% completed this game (A few odd achievements to get still) But the custom character maker, along with custom armies, warhorses, warbanners, scenarios, units, and more make this game very customizeable for fun simulation projects.

I personally used hundreds of characters from the nations of my Fantasy Novel world to make a really fun political and war simulator.
