I hate this game, yet I cannot bring myself to stop playing it.
I personally enjoyed the story but felt the characters lacked any real depth and just couldn't relate or care for anything they had to say with exception for Danse. The great thing about this game is that you can get lost in the world for hours at a time, which despite it's terrible optimisation is this games one saving grace. Mods are what truly make this game so enjoyable for me, with just under 200 mods installed I have shaped this game into something I can get lost and immersed in, I yet to find another series that does this as well as Fallout, along with it's amazing and creative modding community. If you choose wisely and ensure you are cleaning your mods, sorting correct load orders and making backups of your game you should be fine with well over 200+ mods without crashes.
