If Dark Souls, Mass Effect and Skyrim had a baby.... this game would be that baby.

Unfortunately, this game has the bugs and the poor PC implementations of those games too.

If you enjoy this game, then you enjoy your nuts being roasted in front of a blowtorch.

This developer has shown egregious incompetence for more than a decade and they somehow achieve a new low with every release.

UPDATE: 16/11/2023

People who purchased this game before and during release were sold an expansion, not two battle-groups for a hefty price, to add insult to injury, the update "Steel Shepard" just gives us stuff that should have been included with the base game on release.

If it weren't for the following novice mistakes from a woke AAA studio, this remake would be perfect:

• Terrible stuttering/hitching.
  
  
• Terrible texture streaming resulting in a blurry mess, VRS being enabled with no way to disable it doesn't help.
  
  
• No FoV slider, the game is too zoomed in and causes motion sickness.
  
  
• The graphics are on par with Dead Space 3 when using FSR or DLSS.
  
  
• Isaac Clarke now looks like a younger version of Captain Robert Norton.
  
  
• Various characters are now gay, older looking and less physically appealing than in the original, this shoehorning of wokeness is probably due to ESG funding, whitewashing established lore on the alter of Klaus Schwab is not okay, if studios wish to do that then they should make a new IP instead (that won't sell).
  
  
• The environment and dialogue has been changed to appease SJW's.
  
  
• The inventory UI will open at random (after Shift+Tabbing) and mouse movement in the menus will stop working, you need to open and close the inventory to fix the former and use the arrow keys on the keyboard as a workaround for the latter.
  
  
• Various UX issues.
  
  
• Vaguely mentions Visceral Games for making the original game and franchise at the very end of the credits.
  
  
• Items critical to main missions will sometimes not spawn on hard difficulty, forcing the player to abandon saves.
  
  
• Enemies will sometimes appear invisible and some sounds will cutout during scripted events on hard difficulty, additionally doors that were locked during said scripted events won't reopen and the game will completely soft lock some in-game menu options and the PC entirely.
  
  
• Whilst playing on hard difficulty, doors will sometimes refuse to open and after a while they will disappear, leaving a black void where the next room should be, this will sometimes result in the game locking the PC which can also occur at random or when Alt+Tabbing.
  
  
• Sometimes Isaac will stop moving for a moment when walking down a ramp or will stop moving altogether.
  
  
• Animations will sometimes not play properly.

The perfect combination of Dark Souls, Minecraft, Skyrim, Rust and Breath of the Wild.

This awesome OST is let down only by the fact that the files are in the MP3 format only (have to get the FLAC version another way), encoded with MPEG Audio layer 1/2 (mpga).

Destiny 2 would be a good game if Bungie didn't employ FOMO practices.

Let players revisit past seasonal content (like Halo: Infinite).
