I enjoyed Night City, but.

Where do I start, Cyberpunk 2077 is really something. Never in my whole life have I been invested in a game pre-release as much as Cyberpunk 2077, I watched all the trailers, watched all the lore videos, trailer breakdowns from different creators even though most of them point out the same thing, everytime I saw with word “cyberpunk” on YouTube I click, even imagining what my playthrough would be like. I am literally counting days to release, preloaded the game even with the fact that my ♥♥♥♥ box of a PC probably won’t run it well. I am ashamed to admit it, but I did hope that the game would fill me, this year has been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up for all of us and I hope whoever reading this (if there is any) is doing alright.

The performance of the game is okay, but I do get constant FPS drops. My PC doesn't even reach the minimum requirement. I built my PC not long after the first trailer dropped (Early 2014) and in my playtime I averaged 48 FPS on low settings, this game did made me realize that I'm too poor for gaming now, maybe that’s what you get living in a third world country lol. Tried to crank it to ultra settings. It's beautiful and visually stunning.

They advertise a lot about customization and styles but it’s actually a letdown and underwhelming, there are cybernetics arms, legs, eyes and hairs that NPC have but it’s not available for V. I thought that the customization would be something else, but it’s average to say the least. For the cherry on top, once you've created your V, that's it. You can't edit your appearance anymore. Despite the fact that the marketings for this game implied that "Night City changes every body” but not for V I guess, you can't even change your hairstyle, makeup or tattoos, forget the cybernetics.

I also thought that clothes would be a big part of Night City, they really made a separate trailer showcasing the style of people in Night City. They even made a collaboration with IRL fashion brands. But 50 hours in I barely find anything interesting to mix and match, they need to optimize the drop rate or the shop, most of the shop sells the same stuff, from the street peggler to a luxurious shop, they sell the same ♥♥♥♥, tank tops and combat vest, what the ♥♥♥♥. The clothing is uninteresting unlike the trailer we saw.

The world is also disappointing. I thought that this would be a vast open world, which requires a lot of exploration and discovery of interesting things. But I found that although it is obvious that people have spent a lot of effort to build this beautiful city, the promises of the world would be lively is mostly a window dresser. Yeah, there are a lot of NPCs walking around (even more if you put crowd density to max), but the city doesn't really feel alive. It is completely scripted and static for lack of the better word, and AI still has many shortcomings. As many players have already pointed out, AI seems to be the absolute minimum, if you interact with them, they will talk, if you pull a gun they run away. That's it. NCPD is a complete joke. If you are broke with the law, the police will spawn you no matter where you are. In the middle of a market, on the highway, on the top of the building, the police just walked out of thin air.

The character building with V felt linear despite the outstanding storytelling and branching outcomes, I thought we as players would tailor our V's personality, lifepaths aren't implemented well, whatever you choose you'll ended up as a Streetkid merc with heart of gold, I'm sure that the montage with Jackie in Act 1 is supposedly a lifepath intro, but they instead replaced it with the same montage for all life paths probably to meet the deadline. Other than that the characters they created are compelling, their stories and backstories are amazing. The main story is alright, but I never expected to enjoy side stories as much as this. It had its moments, it really did play with my heartstrings, and always made me wonder if I made a different choice in the game. But missions such as gigs and side biz felt pointless and felt like a filler so the huge world doesn’t feel so empty. Do a quest, get money, repeat, that’s it. I haven’t finished the game yet so I can’t talk more about the story aspect, but so far there is that. It's a Fallout 4 with more flair to it.

Then the apartment system. It’s pointless, there is no reason for V to ever return to the apartment. The only thing you do is stash stuff there (which you can do too on your car trunk) or watch some sleazy TV show and ads, other than that it is pointless and you can forget it even exists.

The gameplay was alright, driving felt okay and the combat felt amazing. The game needs a lot of work on quality of life, but they probably won't add anything in a while since they have more homework to do with the bugs. I won't sugarcoat it, the game is messy. It's not a mess but it's messy. You get what I mean.

The Soundtrack was on point, Samurai is the best fictional band I ever heard. No cap.

I do agree with some critics that mention that the game is overhyped, and I really hate that CDPR pulled an EA with the base console release and the state of the game. With a studio as big as CDPR they showed a bad example for the rest of the industry. The worst part is they really are on top of the world with the record breaking pre-orders. I won’t be surprised if more game studios pulled a move like this.

The potential is there but I doubt CDPR would change anything major in the future with this game, releases like this always made me wonder what a year or two in development could do for the game, Mass Effect Andromeda was a victim to such doing.

This game is a solid looter shooter not an RPG, this game is a 6.5/10 if they didn’t have Keanu Reeves and is a solid 7.5/10 with Keanu onboard. Maybe a solid 8 down the line if they really changed up the flaws in the game and fixed all the bugs. But I doubt it’ll happen, this is not about bugs. Sure there are a ♥♥♥♥ ton of bugs but the core aspects of the game are missing or broken. The game was rushed. They cut stuff like the public transport which was hinted a lot in earlier trailer, they obviously cut the lifepath intro and half of the act 1
no matter lifepath you choose you'll probably ended up playing streetkid and they missed out on a lot of possibilities like autodrive on the AI taxi Delamain. The proof is in the pudding.

The game had 8 years of development but still feels rushed, the thing felt like an early access game, I wouldn’t rule out this game yet, maybe it will do a No Man Sky.

Until then, I can't wait to get back to Night City.

EDIT: Forgot the fact that crafting sucked big time, it's unfulfilling CDPR should fix this too.

I like Madden, in Madden 20 I logged at least 300-400 hours. Offline, I pirated it simply because I dislike the way EA treats the Madden NFL franchise, just like everyone else. It's definitely a cash grab and it's designed towards it. First thing that is shoved by this game after entering the main menu is MUT, which is their main source of income.

I played Face of the Franchise 100% of the time during my short time playing. I encountered a game breaking bug once, which led me to restart my 6 hour of FOF progress. I didn't bother to tweak any settings but I didn't see any single option to turn off cloud saving, which is annoying. Once you encounter a game breaking bug like this, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The story sucked, but it's all we got and I'll be lying if I say I didn't enjoy it. I do, it's just there's so much potential. FIFA sucked to but it's a better game than what Madden has become. Going to Madden 21 from Madden 20 felt like an update locked behind a paywall, a full priced AAA title that is. it's outrageous that a game like this is priced the same as a game such as Cyberpunk 2077 for example (it's more expensive than Cyberpunk in my country due to regional pricing) because the effort EA put to this game is really minimal.

I love football, but in the end, I'm not going to buy it. Maybe when it goes on sale this holiday, but doubtful. They should've added more content or lower the price they sell Madden.

F1 2020 is amazing to say the least, My Team game mode is very enjoyable and fun, They fixed the AI and it felt more natural as AI able to make a playerlike mistake, but there are a couple of huge flaws that Codemasters need to iron out real soon.

Driver Market is wonky as hell, in the first season Sebastian Vettel is scripted to retire, I don't think it's realistic at all, he is 33, if anyone wants to retire it probably the Iceman Kimi. Then on the second season 80% of the driver changed team, even Lance Stroll moved away from his daddy's team. I think the solution here is to add contract length

There is a couple of visual bugs but nothing game breaking, the only time i got game breaking bug is on Monte Carlo Grand Prix, Safety car stuck in the pitlane which led me to restart my race which is annoying

My Verdict is, As an F1 fan it's still a must buy, My Team Mode is very enjoyable and Codemasters need to bring more Customization such as Number Styling and Coloring for My Team Cars.

Early Access Review
it was fun, it's disappointing though that this is all we get for 8 years of development and it's far from done.

almost logged 50 hours and haven't even reach that far in the main quest, it goes without saying one of the best game of all time, the storyline is actually fairly simple and cliche but the depth of this game though
10/10 best game ever made

honestly it's a decent game with beautiful graphics with that new SnowDrop game engine, game mech are great, gameplay is nice but it's heavy ass repetitive when it comes to "encounters" and stuff. the game also had a very great concept of PvP and PvE. the game also had a lot of bugs, glitch and the deal breaker, hackers, this guys are just awful, they might be the one that giving a recommended review to get more people toasted by them.

♥♥♥♥ this game

Edit: I LOVED THE HELL OUT OF IT SINCE YEAR 1 UPDATE!!! and no more hackers
