honestly an incredible game with a lot of innovative mechanics and takes on the tower defense genre

I do think there are some balance issues with some towers being OP and others just useless but I'm excited to see what happens with 1.0

Spectre: Divide is a wait to win FPS game. Waiting allows you to:
- listen for enemy footsteps
- mask your presence
- get the first shot when holding angles
- give the enemy players a heart attack by hiding in a corner for 2/3rds of a round
- and ultimately furthering the stalemate to capitalize on getting a kill.
by camping and playing passive you give yourself an artificial advantage by using your time as a resource in place of actual skill. its very difficult to avoid some form of stalemate if the enemy team is fully committed to capitalizing on these artificial advantages. if you want to play aggressive and push every round you are simply playing into the intricate system designed to feed campers egos. simply playing objective or trying to flank will cause you to waste even more time as you will inevitably die to a spectre in a corner that hasn't been moved all match. all of this is by design to capitalize off shrouds name and recoup the costs of development as time committed players are much more likely to purchase skins in game. all of the mechanics from slow movement, campy maps, low ttk, and lackluster offensive abilities combine to make spectre a great a wait to win fps game
