If you played and loved Mercenaries on the PS2 or Mercenaries 2 on the PS3 this is the game for you. It is just like Mercenaries 2 except the world is larger. What you lose from Mercenaries 2 is the different factions. In Just Cause 3 it's just the Dictator and the Rebels, but you still get supply drops etc. What you gain in Just Cause 3 is a grappling hook, parachute and a wing suit, as well as every vehicle and aircraft in the game is player usable. Can't recommend this enough. Totally gives me my Mercenaries fix. :)

Great game. Assassin's Creed style game play in a Tolkien setting. Good graphics, great skill tree with lots of abilities. Unique bosses with different strengths and weaknesses, (and this is my favorite part) that level up if they kill you! Continuing to make it harder to kill them in the future. I definitely recommend this to everyone.

AoW3 is a great fantasy turn based strategy. A nice selection of races to choose from along with heroes that level up and can be equipped with magical items. Units upgrade "veteran" status through surviving battles and a large selection of units to produce for each race. Non player races can be either conquered or negotiated with to join you, allowing for production of units you can't normally produce. Global and combat magic that can be researched, makes for a twist to game play as well. Auto or manual combat to suit your style. This is one of my favorite games and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I started with Age of Wonders and have enjoyed the entire franchise.

I'm addicted. I don't know if that makes this good or bad.

JUST STARTED PLAYING THIS, BUT IT IS ALREADY A LOT OF FUN. I LOVE THAT THERE IS A SOLO AI OPTION. I LIKE BATTLE ROYALE GAMES BUT I AM FAIRLY NEW TO THEM. THIS GIVES ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO PRACTICE BEFORE FACING OTHER PLAYERS. GREAT JOB!

I think this game is fantastic, but let me be up front about it. If you only like visually stunning graphics, this is not for you. If you are a fan of content then keep reading. I am an old school gamer that started with pong. I have been through most of the systems over the years and RPG's are my favorite genre. It has never been about the graphics in an RPG though, it's about the content. I like to be able to equip several things on my character, have a multitude of magical variations, crafting, skills and a large selection of stats with a leveling system. This game has all of that. Graphics, it does not. It is a very cartoonish overview world map with point and click to travel to each destination. The graphics in town are even worse. The dungeons and battles are very similar to the original Final Fantasy.

You play a ruler of a kingdom that must hire adventurers to defeat an evil wizard. You can hire a multitude of adventurers but must use them in parties of 4 to battle. There is an auto adventure option which is what makes the sim aspect of the game, but you do not have to do this. You must build repore with other races and gain quests from them. You are able to perform quests over and over and this allows for grinding levels, money and crafting materials. There is also a lot of humor in the game. The bio's on you adventures are set up in a "mad-libs" sort of fashion with a basic background with random words inserted. There is a fun basic crafting system for any of the items you can eqiup. This game is not as in depth with story line and content that you would find in Skyrim for example, but it is a very fun game that you can walk away from and come back to over and over again.
