It's like a more visually polished Ubisoft game that talks about itself like it's the next hot thing, while simultaneously doing stereotypical story & gameplay crap that makes me roll my eyes.

Just not for me/10. Glad to see more PlayStation games coming over tho!

fun in the basement

Ya, it's fun, but not porting over cosmetics I spent money on from the last version of Warzone really sucked. I also had game breaking bugs prevent me from playing for a few months.

Definitely worth a shot, but painful in the long run if you're committed to playing the game. And that makes it really hard to recommend, even if the game istelf is usually fun.

Game is very good, funny, and easy to pop in for a quickish mission with the boiz chatting about their day over comms. I'm pretty sure when we're all grown up with kids we'll look back on these days fondly.

A truly heartfelt and passion-filled experience for seasoned gamers.

I'm 24, and have been gaming since I got my hands on a PC at 15. It quickly became one of my favorite hobbies, as I can interact in a world that I could never experience in real life. I've adored my time with GTA San Andreas, GTA 5, Prey 2017, The Witcher 3, Death Stranding, and many more games that've taken me to an whole new world. I usually stumble across these incredible experience, and while KCD is no exception to that, it does stick out as unique.

After playing a few open world RPG games, the systems start to blend together. KCD seems to realize this, and created it's own spin on gameplay.

-Darker & less noisy clothing (i.e. chain mail is loud) makes you sneakier
-Context matters. If you have 8 charisma and are talking to someone with 7, yet ask something ridiculous, it won't work.
-Most people won't buy stolen goods
-(And my favorite) Your character SUCKS. He isn't great at anything until he, and by extension you, learn how to do it.

Death Stranding said "Hey, slow down. Look at your terrain, and actually take in the best way to navigate it" when most games it doesn't matter. KCD does this same effect in combat, navigation, and (when in hard mode) quests.

If you are new to open world RPGs, I'd imagine this game would feel tedious. But once you've played many similar games, this one feels like a breath of fresh air, designed by people truly passionate about the game's setting and systems.

An absolutely fantastic experience.

I am a big fan of The Witcher 3, and pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 for myself and a friend to play on release night. It was very underwelming to me. Buggy, crashing, short story, and huge amounts of missing content.

Fast-forward to this DLC coming out, I was not planning on playing it. I had my time with Cyberpunk, and I just didn't want to feel like the potential was being wasted again. Plus America's president as a plotline? AND another celebrity just for the clout? Tbh sounded pretty lame.

I was so wrong.

Ibris's character feels better than any other character in Cyberpunk. He acted them to perfection, this clearly wasn't just for a paycheck. Dogtown feels better than any other area in the game, and has that extra little bit of detail that I think was missing in the base game.

I'm still playing the DLC, but this is LEAGUES better than the Cyberpunk I played years ago. What a comeback.

I have hundreds of hours is Payday 2.

I fully believe this game will get to Payday 2's levels of greatness, it's just too early. Machmaking, skills, everything about this game is lacking the 10 years of time that was put into payday 2.

Sadly, the game just isn't fun rn. So I'm not going to force myself to play it. Brut I'll keep coming back to it, until it's enjoyable :)

Main Story is lackluster, but interesting at times.

Side quests are AMAZING and a huge amount of fun.

The ending made me sit back in my chair and think as I watched the credits roll by.

However, the amount of crap you have to go through to get to the end is unbearable, and I have no desire to replay this game.
