It's an MMO looter shooter in the same vein as Destiny 2, but you play as a remote-controlled hybrid of a Power Ranger, and the cyborg ninja from Metal Gear Solid. I used to think this game was way too easy, but the difficulty is something that goes 0 to 100 in a matter of minutes in any mission; catching the player off guard.

The crafting and upgrading system has extremely confusing presentation, so you need to look that kind of thing up on YouTube to have any idea how to upgrade your individual weapon's abilities, or even the Warframe you're playing. That being said, those systems are what separate this game from any other looter-style game, and make this way more sophisticated than it looks on the surface.

The story mode in Warframe is the most artsy-fartsy thing in videogames, and is designed for people to theory-craft on places like Reddit and YouTube. There are several references to things like Journey to the west, Homer's odyssey, and several centuries-old nursery rhymes. You're supposed to say "Yo, that's deep" whenever you complete these story quests, and it is one of the best aspects of the game. This game makes you feel like an intellectual while you commit stylish space-genocide.

This game has the most buttery-smooth gameplay and controls in videogames, and I recommend everyone at least try this game.
