Anime was a happy accident

Potamkin is the apex of 1500 years of comedy, novelty, and religious vigour passing through two continents of North America and Europe. Some 1500 years ago a story was written about a "Poytomkin Village" as a fable, where supposed husband of Catherine II of Russia, Potemkin, did his dabbling while his wife was in the Crimea. Between ten and fifteen years suceeding Potemkin's death, a Russian battleship was named after his as homage to the story. Some 90 years laters, a crew of bros on MTV made a parody of a football championship game where one of the players names was dubbed after the fmous Potemkin ship. At 1am at some date in 1998, I saw that parody on MTV. I sport the name to this day.
