Very early days, still, but a lot of potential here nonetheless!

Several things went into making this game not fun for me. But they can all be summed up in the publisher's approach to monetizing the game.

I knew, going into the game, that there was going to be some degree of that, but boy is it bad. Somewhere around a dozen or so types of in-game currency and points. Obfuscation on top of obfuscation in how to acquire and improve items and gear. The UI is also largely a mess, due in large part to this. There are so many mechanics and systems which strictly exist because of the predatory monetization used in this game that several things become unnecessarily complex and difficult to understand as well.

But I am subtracting 10 points from the overall score for their terrible, predatory monetization which infects (and affects) nearly every aspect of this game.

The first time I booted up the game it crashed before completely loading. Sent report.

Restarted. Finished character creator -> game crashed. Sent report.

Restarted. Played for 10 minutes -> game crashed. Sent report.

Played for another ~20 minutes. Crash.

Also didn't receive any of the ultimate edition content for buying the ultimate edition.

DO NOT BUY right now. Wait for several large technical patches is my advice.

Not quite as good as multiplication 2

major frame rate drops on top end hardware
crashed 4 times in 2 hours of play
multiple inventory bugs

wait for about 3 major patches

Controls/Interface for planning sucks. Rainbow six rogue spear had 10x better planning phase/controls and that game's 20 years old.

quickly gets boring once passed suburbs. not a lot of depth here. needs a greater sense of overall progression
