If you like adjusting stats that you don't entirely understand for an hour like I do, then this game is for you.
Otherwise you might struggle to enjoy it, especially if you don't like menuing. When playing campaign you spend the vast majority of your time menuing, and those menus don't tend to work right or even make much sense. but if you're willing to slog through that, the car design and tuning mechanics are quite enjoyable.
However I still haven't figured out how to make cars that look as nice as the ones in the promotional images. the amount of customisation you can do to the bodies of the cars (in terms of shape, adjusting angles, making seams sharper, or even adding panel gaps) leaves something to be desired.
Overall still an enjoyable experience, but it definitely needs more time. (especially the campaign.)

one of the most chaotic, fun coop experiences i've had in decades.

surprisingly fun, very in depth. a proper racing dlc aside from drag racing would be fun.

load times are kind of awful, compounded by the fact that the game pauses when you tab out, so don't think you can go check your email while it loads or something, you gotta sit there.

also please overhaul the scrap minigame

terrific, timeless classic. while the building mechanics are good, expect more of an exploration-based open world RPG with building aspects than a building focused game.

voice output is noisy, lack of options to create custom voices.

Well built game with an interesting challenge. Great graphics, VR would be a nice addition.
though instant death from fuses is a bit anger-inducing

game is fantastic, music is fantastic, what else can i say?

though the one problem i have is that the "no checkpoints" thing is just annoying instead of challenging
