This game is the sole reason I bought a VR headset.

It's very spooky, I cannot handle it.

Thus far I have managed to see 1 SCP and it was introductory peanut. The ambient noises and the immense darkness in every room makes it so I play in bursts of 4 minutes before giving up for a couple hours.

10/10 excellent adaptation.

It's a fun game! You go down a well, you shoot the hellbeasts, and repeat. It's a simple premise, but it's one that could keep you entertained for hours. Also it's dirt cheap.

I can definitely see why some people would think that the changes Repentance makes would make the game too hard. I can also see that I personally really enjoyed it. There's a lot of things to unlock, and nothing makes me feel as good as beating a difficult challenge does. Some of the more extreme changes are getting dialed back a bit, and even as it is now, it's still completely doable. Honestly, I think that this DLC is nothing short of a masterpiece, and Static Pal, not his actual name, is probably my favorite boss in any game. Ever.

As someone who play's pretty much exclusively on hard mode, I can still beat it fairly consistently. The alt path is meant[i/] to be much harder, and most of the changes that'll really hit you aren't something a new player would get to see, since you need to kill Mom's Heart a couple times to get into the actual meat of the game. In conclusion, I really enjoy this DLC, and the only nerf I'm genuinely upset about is Serpent's Kiss. Buy this, if you like a hard game, you won't regret it.

I've never played a game published by Devolver that I didn't enjoy, and this is no exception. It's an interesting blend between a roguelite and an idle game, taking the best of both worlds and making something new and interesting. I'm not usually a fan of deck building games, but this game has that feature implemented in the perfect way for me to be able to spend lots of time at once on this. Definitely worth the 15 dollars I spent on it, and I recommend it for anybody who wants to play something fun and interesting.

Also it has harpies, so that's an instant +1 from me.

It's a Schmup but it's also a roguelite, what more is there to say?

A lot, actually, this is probably one of the best roguelites I've played, which is saying something, because I've played a lot of them. As of the time I'm writing this, it's still in early access, but you wouldn't be able to tell, because it looks and feels like a complete game! The very idea that they can still add more content to this is impressive, considering how much it already has. This is a game that I whole-heartedly recommend you buy, it's a good time.

This is it, this is the game. This is what is probably the most famous roguelite of all time, arguably more famous than Actual Rogue. And there's a very good reason that this game is so popular. This is one of the biggest roguelites around, with more content than almost any other. Sure, it mine seem a bit odd to have to buy a DLC for a DLC, but that's just because Afterbirth + expands on the original Afterbirth in almost every way. With Repentance coming out soon, now is the perfect time to buy a game that you can spend hundreds of hours on.

I'm a big fan of roguelites, always have been, probably always will be. This is one of the best roguelites I've ever played. The sheer variety of things to unlock and use is astounding, it's a game that I wholeheartedly recommend to anybody who enjoys platformers, roguelites, or the Metroid series.

While it may not look fantastic at first glance, this is an amazing example of both a tower defense game AND a resource management game. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who asks.
