Originally I was thinking this game would be a thumbs up as I did love the first 60% or so of this game, however, towards the end I feel like the plot derailed and led to an unsatisfying conclusion with all the choices being made by the player at the last minute right before the end.

I can't really expand on this in too much detail without spoilers and the game really relies on your curiosity to unravel the plot so going in blind is best. I think the most I can say without giving anything away is that the game teases and builds up a mystery that seems difficult to come up with a satisfying pay off for simply due to the length of the story being told and how by the time we reach the end the pace has halted to an excruciatingly slow speed numerous times. For me this led to me sticking with the last 40% or so of the story because I was invested and I wanted that satisfying conclusion to the mystery however it just fell flat for me which is why I can't recommend the game.

The last negatives I found were that the hub world in between the main story sections is very confusing and is a pain to navigate, it would've been better for the pacing if the map had a more simple layout or was straight up removed in favour of accessing the optional conversations through a menu. In the end I just skipped the optional conversations because navigating the map was taking 90% of the time in between chapters just to get to a conversation that might only be a minute long. Finally, the game is a game in the loosest sense of the word, there aren't any gameplay elements apart from walking around and progressing the dialogue.

There were positives though, the art style is gorgeous and the soundtrack and voice acting are superb, the game is relaxing to play through as well.

In conclusion, the game is by no means bad but for what's on offer here there are too many drawbacks for it to be worth recommending in my opinion.

Build characters, clear waves and level up. There is an absolutely insane amount of fun to be had here and you really get your moneys worth for how cheap it is.

The scale of the battles in this game is insane towards the end, some of the craziest fps levels I think I've ever seen but even from the start the game sets a fast pace and doesn't really deviate from it.

You get more guns than you'll know what to do with all with alternative functions not to mention having a chainsaw on your leg for when you slide into enemies. You can deck yourself out with different augmentations that give a variety of bonuses/abilities, there are a lot of these that you can find hidden or buy throughout the levels. You can play arcade mode and endless mode as well if that's your thing. It's just a fun game all round really.

A wholesome story about a schizophrenic mass shooter who is trying to monetise his hobby.

This game is stupid fun, easily the best FPS to come out this year so far.

The movement is awesome and the perk system allows you to pull off combos that let you shoot 30 odd enemies without even touching the ground. The gunplay is satisfying and the weapons here are a lot of fun to use especially the explosives and rocket launchers.

Somehow the game manages to be relaxing even on the hardest difficulty and with all the fast paced combat going on, I think the graphics and the music help with this as there is a chill vibe while moving about the open world and exploring.

It is a joy to fly around the map at stupid speeds and to blow up enemies while you do it.

This game is a fun arcade racer that is fairly short, it is fun to go for the gold medal on each track and to try to beat some scores on the leaderboard. The old school aesthetic and the soundtrack solidify the games quality. Thumbs up from me.

I haven't finished the game yet but I can already recommend it from what I've played. It's just a nice chill game to play when you want to relax, you are cleaning and there is a story that links the levels together in the background. You can uncover more about what has gone on at the scene by looking around as well which can lead you to secrets. The game doesn't force these plot elements in your face though so it's really up to you as to how much interest you take in the story.

The game runs smoothly and the levels are well designed. It is taking me a decent amount of time to get through the game as well as I am trying to fully clean every level. I would recommend this game to anyone thinking about getting it.

When it works it's a good game but after the latest update it just crashes every time I load into a level. Your mileage may vary with this one.

Arco is a turn based RPG where you play as multiple characters who end up banding together to take down the Red Company which is a group that are trying to settle in their lands and will not think twice about killing the natives to take their land.

The story is engaging and your choices effect the combat as well as the plot, if your character feels a lot of guilt they will be haunted by ghosts in battle meaning that you will have to make the turn quick as the ghosts can move in realtime as you plan your next turn. We get to see the origins for each character and why they set out on a quest for vengeance.

The combat is fun and the different characters have different skill trees. When you combine them in battle it's a lot of fun trying to dodge the bullet hell style projectiles and get off combos without taking any damage. Items such as poison and bombs can be thrown and consumables can be taken to give you an edge in battle. The combat provides a solid challenge from the start and the AI are quite strong in fights, this difficulty remains consistent throughout the game and there are no unfair spikes in my opinion.

The graphics and art style of the game provide some beautiful environments to explore and there is a variety of different locations all visually interesting and unique littered throughout the game world. The soundtrack is also really good and has some relaxing tracks that play as you travel around the gameworld.

The game was fun and there is no filler even among the sidequests. Highly recommend it.

Roboquest is an excellent shooter with roguelite elements, success is more reliant on skill than lucky drops which is good.

You can choose from a variety of classes that all come with their own ultimate, passive and melee skills. You start out with hard being the maximum difficulty but through subsequent playthroughs you can unlock higher difficulties. The comic book artstyle is also easy on the eyes and looks great. You can upgrade your basecamp between runs with wrenches which will tip the difficulty in your favour slightly by allowing you to gain better perks and equipment.

That being said, experimenting with different builds and trying to improve your run is both fun and addictive, I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good shooter.
