I genuinely adore this game.
Its been a little while since I found a "new" game to get sucked in, and Baldur's Gate 3 is fantastic. At the time of writing this review, ive sunk in 75 hours and I still haven't completed it and i'm on my first playthough! A lot of my friends have ended up doing multiple characters repeating certain acts but this game has made it so easy for me to be so emotionally attached to my character and the origin characters. So I can't personally restart until I complete my current run. I'm certainly planning what I wanna play next run and who ill be romancing though, I have 0 plans to put this game down anytime soon.
The voiceacting is brilliant and has totally sucked me into the world, the characters are so charming and your bound to find a character you adore and would do anything for. I'm personally biased towards a certain ♥♥♥♥♥ blood thirsty man.

I havent paid full price for a game in a long time and I'm so glad I risked it and bought this game. Its so worth the price tag, no micro transactions (as it should be for a game this price in my eyes) and you can sink in so much time into this game.
You wont regret picking this game up. Should be game of the year, no doubts about it.

I pretty much only bounce between a couple of games nowdays, decided to shake that up and get into a new game. I chose Yakuza 0.
And I will say that was the best little bit of curiosity i've had in a while. I haven't enjoyed a games story like this in years, I literally bashed this entire game wanting to find out what happens in every single chapter, I seriously struggled to put it down! The soundtracks fantastic, I adored the story and the gameplay is so much fun. I swapped from keyboard to an actual gamepad at the end of the game and I will say it helped me so much swapping. As much as the keyboard controls are good, nothing will beat playing this on a controller. That's coming from someone who hates playing any game on a controller that isn't a console.
Seriously you won't regret getting into the Yakuza games. It's so much fun.

Got this game for Christmas by a really good friend of mine.
All of my friendship group who play tabletop Warhammer and warhammer in general were buzzing for this game, we all pre-ordered ready to play together.
The only person who could actually decently run it was one person. I was perfectly fine running though the game, walking about and exploring, completely and utterly beautiful. That's not the point though. As soon as I ran into a horde my whole computer would just screech and cry for help, chugging like there's no tomorrow.
I am not the only person having this as well, everyone else minus that one person had that EXACT issue. I literally couldn't play the game as the chugging was too much for my lovely little PC. Which defo shouldn't happen.

The loading times as well are just bloody awful. I literally went to the loo, made myself a lovely cup of tea, got myself some nice biccies', and it was STILL loading and had time left. (True story.)

Not to mention, when I decided to do the multiplayer camp with a friend, none of the story was playing or anything. Brilliant story mode, right?

I can't say ive ever asked a friend to refund a gift, I felt like a giant ♥♥♥♥ but im not letting someone spend a good £25.00 on a gift for me which doesn't work.
As someone who is into the warhammer 40k universe, and someone who is a Tyranid player (I can slay my own faction thx) I was so let down by this game. I shouldn't have expected much since every Warhammer game seems to have this horrid curse.
