Although this game has its short comings (mostly in the optimization department), the story for basically a glorified demo is still pretty good. The game is worthwhile if you have a hour to kill.

To offset all the people yelling about the anticheat, Imma post a postive review of the game, I've personally have a lot of fun playing with randoms and anyone else. The only main complaint is that the anticheat sometimes take up 10-15 percent of my cpu, in which is slightly annoying, but it isn't a deal breaker. BTW people who were saying that its so bad, look at EAC, it does the exact same thing.

Worth it game if on sale. There is no denying that this game had a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launch but... in the current state of the game, I recommend it.

A fresh breath of air in a mostly dead genre.

Ruined it, was planning to get back into this game a few months ago but with the addition of EAC, broke any chances of me playing the game since I constantly played with mods. Why the ♥♥♥♥ and while at it Why the HELL did the devs think that a game like VRChat needs a damn anti cheat.

Although the game is rarely updated anymore, its still a good game with a lot going behind it, and when it does get updated, usually the updates are at quality.

On the third day of owning the game, I recommend this game. So lets go through some of things you will need to know.

1.backing up is NEEDED, since this game is prone to universe and player corruption if you not handle the game with care. I recommend to back up your saves and such on a session basis.

2.if your universe is modded with 3rd party biomes and such and you want to remove the mod. You will have to delete the universe file so I will recommend you to make a back up and remove any items you want from it before deleting it. Don't worry deleting your universe doesn't delete your ship or player.

3.Take modding with extreme caution. Since most mods arn't going to mix well with each other. This may end up in player or universe issues if you don't do your research.

4.Your going to get heart broken, a lot. I lost one of my chars and I got attached to it. This is why I recommend you to do a backup at the end of every session you do.

5.This game supports discord invites, so if your friend has starbound, come on! let them join in on the fun!

6.The game has a strong modding community, with an mod for everything you basically want nearly. (Lewd to if you know a couple mods)

7.Steam version is the best version for modding since it's open and easy to mod ways.

Even though I owned this game for about 3-4 days now, I been hooked. Will recommend.
