I've only played this game for 1-2 hours while im writing this review, but this game is really fun. The community barely consists of toxicity and the players really get into the pirate-theme. You work together with your team to take down other ships while defending and repairing your own. Definently a recommendation!

i don't understand how you can not recommend this game its literally 2 euro's just ask some friends to buy and play it with you it's great fun

Bought it on sale for €10, and even after the release of Ragnarok, the map is still very cool and fun to play.

Is Ark worth €59,99?
In my opinion, no.
However, if you're an incredibly huge fan of surviving and dinosaurs, it might be worth the money for you.
You can always wait until there's a sale on Ark. It's been on sale for around €30 multiple times, and I'd say that ís worth it.
You can play Ark either alone, with friends or online.
You can adjust the difficulty to your liking, like increasing the recourse harvesting rate, and dinosaur stats, etc.
It's very fun to play with a couple of friends, however, non-dedicated sessions can be annoying, since you can't move far away from eachother. This can be changed by increasing the "Host Tethering Distance", however I have had performance issues when I increased this number. That brings me to my final point: Ark requires a quite beefy PC to run on proper settings, and it also takes a lot of disk space (My Ark is currently using a little over 110 GB on my hard drive). I really enjoy the game, and I do recommend it.

I bought this game a long time ago, played it once, and stopped playing it. Then I saw my friends playing it, and I decided to join them. I never knew the game could be so fun.
When you first start off, it looks like a standard survival game. But as you progress, you will find nice loot, such as weapons and other gear. With the gear you craft and collect, you will take on bosses. The bosses will progressively get harder, and after you defeat The Wall of Flesh you will enter an even more difficult challenge: Hardmode.

Pros: A lot to do, even after beating the main game
Free Hosting via Steam, allowing you to play with your friends easily.
Game itself is very cheap
Can be challenging, so it doesn't get boring quickly.
Original game concept

Cons: For me, there are no cons. I just really enjoy the game as it is.
