Nice VSRG game as an alternative to DJMAX if you're seeking one with 6 keys. It's very cheap and only requires 1 DLC to unlock all the music, from past to future updates. So, for people who complain that you need to pay for DLC to unlock everything, it seems like you're not really a true rhythm gamer. You’re probably too used to playing *uhum 'pink launcher' and don't care about the long-term health of the community and artists.

Don’t worry though, there’s also a 4-key mode if you're new to rhythm games. In 6K Inferno difficulty, you’re likely going to be spammed with chordjack and stream patterns every second, but at least here, you don’t have side keys like DJMAX (where 6K = 8K over there kekw). I also sometimes find bump patterns in hard mode, which may not be very beginner-friendly, but it’s good for your progress.

I’ve discovered some hidden gem songs in Musynx, such as Coronach sung by SanWu and composed by Ilem. The voice is really calming, and the trance BGM is also great. There’s a track named Bass Telekinesis (Haloweak), and, as usual, Beyond the Horizon by M2U (featured in many rhythm games). Alice in Misanthrope by Leaf is also included, and it’s a banger. Wait, now that I think about it, the playlist is very similar to Muse Dash and EZ2ON, but with a VSRG and more affordable DLC than Muse Dash. Why not give it a try?

Anyway, I initially experienced some audio crackling and noise, but I found a solution by browsing old forums. If you’re having the same problem, here’s what worked for me: go to the Musynx.exe file (found in your Steam/common folder), right-click, and select Properties. Then, check the "Compatibility Mode" for Windows 7 and disable fullscreen optimizations. Also, go to your Nvidia Control Panel, limit the frame rate to 60fps, hope that helps.

Well, this is my safe haven for rhythm games that still get updates regularly while respect or support the artists and mappers. The songs in the base game are okay-ish and usually have a key sound, but you’ll still need DLCs like Extensions 1-6 to enjoy it to the fullest. What I dislike about the basegame is that most of the songs there are...hmm, how do I describe it? People where I’m from call it "Jamet jedag jedug." I’m not sure how to translate that into english, sorry, but it’s kind of an earworm for me. That said, you can still find some bangers or good Korean songs in basegame-only.

It's also great for people who want to train their timing, precision, and aim. It’s especially helped me as someone who almost reached 30s and having slower reactions. Thanks to the game, I’ve gotten better and better, going from 4B NM to 6B HD regularly, and sometimes MX. I’d recommend it to anyone like me, especially if you're feeling burn-out with RPGs or other genres. And to Neowiz, thank you for keeping this genre alive!!

Here is what I feel after about 30 hours-ish in-game time, though I'm still far from finishing the game—only 22% discovered across northern Thedas even I haven’t meet with Taash and Emmrich yet.

  • Character Creation (CC) is good so far, and even the hair is fabulous with physics, unlike the previous game. If you still think it looks bad, that’s more of a skill issue to set.
  • The Intro is different from the previous game and feels rushed—there’s just too much happening at the beginning.
  • It’s not a truly open world, but if you’ve played DAO and DA2, you’ll recognize the typical map of it. It’s more like linear dungeons than open world.
  • Dialogue wheel is the same as in the previous games, with options to be diplomatic, sarcastic, or aggressive like in DA2. There’s also a bit of DAI style with sad, accepting, angry, etc., reactions when giving a response. I don’t understand the hate saying you can't be mean to someone. I mean, you can be sarcastic, right? This game doesn’t have a silent protagonist like the Hero of Ferelden, so it’s harder to convey the same meaning through dialogue text and the spoken words. Even DA2 and DAI have to suffer for this as well, you pick a sentence, but after hearing the MC say the words, it’s not what you meant.
  • Combat feels like a mix of DA2, ME3, and MEA for controlling which skills to use. I’m not a fan of this. It feels like Dragon Age doesn’t have its soul anymore, especially since you can’t control companions like in the previous games. But I do like the gameplay as Rook mage, as you can infinite dodge step-fade, iframes with skill and use shielding with some cool effects. Also, I think when using a dagger, it feels like you parry enemies when performing a perfect dodge—though I’m not sure, maybe it’s just a coincidence. I played in underdog just in case.
  • Exploration : You have to explore and not just blindly follow the main quest marker. Some side missions are secret unless you're in area, and if you’re not careful, you’ll miss them.
  • Prioritize side quests, especially for factions and companions, before advancing to main quest. Trust me.
  • Companion banter is still tolerable (not as bad as DAO with Alistair whining or Morrigan disapproval of everything). Once you get to know your companions and do their personal missions, it gets better. For example, at first, I thought Bellara was like Sera—trying to be goofy but failing miserably and just annoy us. But after doing her first mission, I understood her more. Pairing her with Harding makes for some great lore banter, as they talk about elven language and dwarven similarities and lost overtime, which is a nice touch.
  • Teambuilding in RPG feels almost nonexistent in this game. The enemies mostly target the Rook, and if you’re playing as a mage, it’s worse. In previous games, we had early warrior tanks like Cassandra, Aveline, and Alistair. In DAV, Davrin comes too late, and even when you build him for a taunt build with Battle Cry, it only works for maybe 4 seconds before enemies start chasing your Rook again.
  • If you feel the game is too colorful, you can turn off the bloom effect in the profile settings.
  • The game still has dark vibes at certain points, basically after the tutorial. If you missed it or didn’t notice, it’s probably because everyone’s too busy riding the bandwagon about the culture war.

Overall, this is a good fast-paced action fantasy RPG if you’re new to the series. But by Dragon Age standards, it’s mediocre. It lacks a detailed codex with relevant lore, and the entries are too short to be meaningful. Also there’s a Kossith (people of Thedas call them Qunari) as part of Shadow Dragon in the middle of Minrathous(Or Dock Town no idea still its near tho), a capital city in Tevinter..... come on, Bioware, even if they’re Tal-Vasoth, it’s a weak excuse for lore just to make it work for filling quotas. The worst part is the NPC reaction to the Elven Gods. No one seems to care, which is bizarre given that the Elven Gods are real—like, F-word actually real. Schoolar across Thedas should be in shambles right now, same as Andrastian chantry in the south. Even DAI handled weaks8 villains like Corypheus better with how Orlais and Ferelden act dired at that time. Lastly, the sacred of eluvian in crossroad to across Thedas its like common now that every city, ally, and acquaintance of the Veilguard seems to have one before meeting Rook and unlocking it from the Crossroads.

Conclusion
I still haven’t finished the game, so I’m not ready to give it a final score. But if I had to rate it right now, I would give it a 7/10. So, give it a try if you still doubt it— ignore those ragebaiter youtuber who's always angry. Bioware has clearly shifted their focus to appeal to newer fans and put us old fans as relic of the past, so if you enjoy fast-paced combat like GoW, you’ll probably like this. Whether you want to get the game at full price or on sale is up to you, but for old fans, it's probably best to get it on sale when it's at least 50% off.

Early and mid-game sections are good because where else you can expect a "pet" can eat human, but after nearly reaching the end, it feels weird and rushed off (you know, in Chapter 12 on the map Nexus between worlds). Still, it’s a good game because I think this is the first VN I can finish till the end, though only on the MORALroute for now. What I dislike, though, is that I need to play a 2nd playthrough to get the true ending, and maybe all the weirdness in Chapter 12 will be explained.

The game has almost fully voiced dialogue, but don’t expect too much from the battles, as they mostly brain-dead tactical combat—except when facing Piedmon. Note that later in mid chapter, the game includes branching choices, so your choices matter.

Just remember before buying this game that the main selling point is the story to read—aka visual novel. So, based on my first playthrough, I’d rate it an 7.5/10, and likely I’ll need another day to finish it for the true ending

I'm not sure if this is an FPS or a Super Mario game because it looks like a jumping puzzle simulator. That's all I gotta say

Maybe this is the best game for teenagers and edgy kids under 18, but not for me. Theres too much yelling and complaining when wondering searching for an item or getting lost when doing an objective from crew like Rocket, I know Rocket from original marvel 616 doesnt act like this, I blamed Rocket by Disney(Gunn) for this. They think its good for comic relief but if it's too much dont you think thats gonna annoyed players?

There is also Too many QTE on gameplay and unskippable cutscenes, I still remember doing over and over on jelly scene for that. The only good thing about this game is the music from the power metal fiction band called Star-Lord.

Hidden gem, easy and short to complete but hard to 100%(unless you want to malding which i don't)
The story has similarities to Mass Effect 2, involving an alien machine and biological alterations that transform human into becoming one of them.

Gameplay itself offers a variety of angles and became a bullet hell if you play on hard difficulty, so try this if you wants a short danmaku(shoot' em up) game and wait for a sale since it's only a buck.
