A self-starter – someone who always finds out the right thing to do and gets on with the job. If a manager has given no guidance Darkness will still take appropriate action. If the required tools are unavailable, they is able to improvise. Darkness willingly joins groups, but tends to remain anonymous. Darkness still needs to learn the job better and required supervisor's assistance regularly. Provided supervisor help is close at hand, performs the job well. Darkness is aiming for promotion, but recognizes that capabilities and prospects are limited. They set high personal standards in an attempt to do as well as possible.
