If you bought this and can't get a refund all I can say is... Don't be sad, this is just how it works out sometimes.

EA/DICE can no longer produce the quality games they were once known for and have no idea what they're doing with the franchise. They're so out of touch staples features have becomes legacy ones and the new direction is a soulless cash grab for preorder money and cringe Fortnite like skins. The trailers that made it look so amazing are prerendered using the engine/assets, but are not possible in game animations and the depiction of the environment chaos was massively overdone. The trailer was made long before the game was in working order. Trying to say the game is in working order is a joke tho. It's like if you had a fridge in working order, but it was empty lacking any contents and had removed features that're standard on any fridge like control knobs and doors.

Avoid this game if you want to keep your brain cells intact. It should have a warning label included explaining how mind blowingly disappointing it can be. For fans of the old games do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one unless you want to tarnish your memories of what Battlefield has always been about. It is the biggest letdown in the series and should be recalled/refunded for basically being a preorder scam game.

Early Access Review
Hope the Devs keep up the hard work, the game is incredible, find myself losing track of time getting into it. I hope they add more features tho like your own world you can customize, your own vehicles without having to code it into existence. If you can add multiplayer with others sounds like a perfect game to me.

One MAJOR negative is the time it can take to setup a heist the way you want. The only option is QUICK SAVES while you're setting up so if the game crashes, you have to turn it off or anything like that you're screwed. Just had 5 hours of setup progress lost because of a crash. Kind of discouraging in a otherwise fun and interesting game.

The games is great and was worth the 60$ price now its only 20$ sale. Alot has changed since fallout 3 first appeared some of it good and bad.

Pros: Improved shooting mechanics, far less crashing problems, voiced main characters, improved graphics and environment effects, building and settlement options, a interesting and compelling storyline that really makes you think hard on the choices you must make.

Cons: Dialog system lacks the transparency of older games and feels entirely emotion not logic driven, certain companions being aware of your actions are annoying and remove some freewill and choices from the game, the open ending while satisfying everyone with a way to win hurts the later possible DLC since the factions associated might have been destroyed and can't be focused on entirely now, settlements needing help is very annoying and should only be given when you truely want to deal with it morely as end game, 3/6 DLC were workshop content solely that should have been included with a update IMO since it like paying for the finished building engine they tacked on at the last moment.

With all the flaws aside i do recommend this game. For the price i payed it gave me plenty of playtime that i enjoyed investing in its enthralling universe. I would recommend you play the older fallout games before to get a better understanding of the lore involved in the world and to see how far it has come since its start.

This game... its... NEARLY PERFECT! After playing it none stop many hours i could say tho there is a few annoying things the devs should work on. Issues im talking about are:
1 abandoned buildings constantly needing to be removed in certain situations is like looking for a needle in a hay stack once your city is huge can we please get some kinda paid city service that takes care of that issue for us,
2 the game gets a little to blurry zoomed in and over time strains my eyes a little, this could be mainly the fault of the first issue abandoned building making me zoom in/out often to find them.
3, firefighters... are they glitched? most of my city is well protected but still they fail to reach most fires in time even when roads to it are clear also some industrial buildings will still be fire hazards even with the firestations next door to them...,4 the damn dams are really glitchy estimated power is never accurate it said 496 im seeing 2-300s for the price of upkeep this is not acceptible, i tryed to add more dams around it to form walls to channel the water into it more properly and reduce the flooding it cause and the result even with them off was lower power because the current is being affected by the other dams... in short please add walls to go with dams and make the power estimations more accurate.

Don't let these minor problems deter you from getting this tho im very pleased with it still and hope many updates come to it soon.
