like almost every other Paradox game, all of the features that are required to have a fun game are locked behind DLC. so unless you have around 350 Dollars just lying around, dont waste your money on this game.

Ah yes, SE's Older brother that was practically forgotten about and neglected by Keen once SE took its first steps. this game had potential, but since Keen wasnt willing to try and actually unlock that potential, they just abandoned the game. its really just SE but medieval quality-wise, despite the fact that SE is more developed than ME. if youre thinking about getting the game, i would recommend that you would go spend that money elsewhere, this game is not worth your time. in fact, just dont touch any Keen Software games, the few that they have are all absolute messes that they just abandon once they realize they have to actually put effort into them to make them playable.

By far, probably one of the most fun games i have ever played. if you didnt read the description, it accurately depicts what the game is all about. there is no actual story, in the sense of there is no purpose for you being there, you just are a regular Human/Shek/Hiver/Skeleton, trying to survive in a harsh enviroment. want to be a ravenous cannibal? you can do that. want to create an empire and conquer the land? you can do that. want to side with the Pathetic Holy Nation or the Powerful United Cities, and merely be a citizen of these empires, living out the best life? you can do that! but i do have to warn you, each area has alot of enemies (i get swarmed by about 30 blood spiders at once at least once everytime i go into the swamps, and 3 beak things at least 5 times throughout the deserts), so prepare yourself everytime you venture out.

What to say about this game? much like Interstellar Space Genesis: this game is Boring. movement is slow as hell, so enjoy your 2 year trip to the other side of your 128 x 128 map! Building and the mechanics in general are just clunky and just arent good whatsoever. if you are curious, please, PLEASE, just wait til this game goes on sale. even then, its still overpriced for what it is. its just that bad. this is more like a crappy flashgame you would find on a unsecure website in 2007. definitely stay away from this one.

Wouldnt recommend it. to put it simply, its a watered-down version of Stellaris for almost the same price, so i cant even say that i would recommend it to people who want stellaris but are too poor to buy it. everything about it is just boring, thats all i can really say about it. Space combat is simple, which isnt always a bad thing, but they somehow made it dumb. customization of anything is basically non-existent, and general gameplay is just Boring. i know ive said boring alot, but this game really is that BORING. definitely would not recommend it.

love the game. its really fun, has unique races, and allows you to cretae your own races and even play with them in games! I have only ONE PROBLEM with the game, and thats the DLCs. the dlcs are complete bullcrap, and its like as if you need to pay for them to get the Very best experience, which is fine, lots of companies do that with DLCs, because thats the whole point of a DLC, but with a DLC that usually costs 10$ USD you should have a decent amount of content in your DLCs. with this game, it will add like 3 or 4 new small things, and it would just be better if they either took 2 or 3 of their DLCS and merged them into one and did that for all of them, OR if you dont want to do that, just make them free! i dont want to waste 20 dollars just to get a file that allows me to build Cityworlds!

i thought i was getting an actually good game-making game, but these are the 3 main problems.
1. it doesn't work on my computer and just crashes because my computer is a steaming pile of horsecrap
2. even when my friend downloaded it on HIS computer and we played it together, you have to PAY to get al the good stuff.
3. it's EXTREMELY misleading.

if i could rate this multiple times, i'd give it 3 thumbs down
