The game's discord server was hacked and raided today. But the game itself is good.

It was good, but after the 1.0 update it refuses to run properly. It'll work good for like 5 minutes and then suddenly starts running at 3 FPS. No other game on my PC, VR or otherwise, does this.

I don't get why some reviews are saying the performance is bad, I'm playing on a GTX 1070 and getting solid 60 FPS with all settings on "epic" and a resolution scale setting of 50.

EDIT: The bug with disappearing letters is apparently an issue some older GPUs can have, disabling Screen-Space Global Illumination can fix it for some, but not all. I'll re-write my review as positive once this issue is totally fixed since the game actually is pretty good.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I cannot recommend the game in its current state. There's a ton of issues still present, like letters and numbers becoming blurry and/or completely missing from the HUD and menus. The HUD also flickers a lot during gameplay. These issues don't make the game unplayable, but it severely compromises the experience when I don't know how much time, ammo, stims, or grenades I have left. Also the game just sometimes doesn't launch when you click play, I suspect this has to do with the developer's poor choice of anti-cheat.

Runs horribly, reliance on FSR2 by game developers instead of properly optimizing games has ruined PC gaming.
