If you want perks, sure, but if you want the killer, just don't.

Killer has to get their doctorate in chasing, then get their masters in mental gymnastics just to get the same level of damage that other killers get with far less brain power. Doesn't do anything well besides be the worst killer in the game.

Deathslinger has a better chase power.
Knight has a better minion power
Wraith has a better mobility power

Now, you might be thinking "Well if she has all three of those then they should be weaker, right?" Right, but they're just abyssmally a waste of time. The killer power doesnt do damage unless you hit the person yourself, UNLESS they are vaulting a window in which case they just take damage for some reason (Will probably get nerfed/removed).

Overall, as a killer main, this killer is a waste of your time and dollars. Do not recommend.

Just wasn't very fun. UI seemed pretty non-intuitive and combat was just super boring, good visuals, but thats about all thats good to me. I encourage you to form your own opinion since its F2P, but to me its not worth the time or any money.

Pretty fun game for what it is, playing the Campaign on hard mode took me about two and a half hours, the gameplay was fun and engaging, and there was only a couple encounters that were frustrating based on enemy aggression/volume on hard mode.

Overall though recommend you give the game a try. It's good fun and gives you a lot of flexibility with how to handle situations. The combat is based on the idea of isolating and separating enemies to create as many manageable fights as possible without being overwhelmed, it encourages you to keep moving and create distractions and use the environment to quickly dispatch, and disable enemies to allow you to focus on your target.

Give it a try!

Really enjoyable game that has passionate developers who don't make knee jerk balancing changes. The music is awesome and the gameplay is easy to learn but hard to master.

For the price, its a really good game to play alone or with friends, currently you can play solo, or play in up to teams of 3.

Just give it a fair try.

What an absolutely phenomenal experience. Elden Ring is an exceptional entry in Fromsoftware's legacy of games that embodies so many of their principles while also trying so many new things. The game is beautiful, and outside of some minor PC performance issues that I had with very few moments in the game, was a rather bug free experience.

The game is very much a create your own adventure and choose what you want to do, and gets away from a lot of open world tropes like hand held quests, material farming, or incredibly bloated experiences. I felt rewarded and compelled to explore to find out more about quests, as well as find new tools to help me through my perilous adventures. The Soundtrack is of course phenomenal, and the boss fights challenge players in new ways that punish sloppy play. The game is difficult and incredibly punishing to the uninitiated, but if you can not take it too seriously and just enjoy the experience and learn from it, it will truly take your breath away.

TLDR:

Game is excellent, some minimal performance issues, unique experience, 10/10.

Game is in early access, and has a few things that need to be worked out. Development team is very relatable and open, and committed to delivering an amazing experience.

Game is easy to get addicted to, and feel a competitive desire to feel better. Though there are still some 'cheese' strats that develop, they usually get squashed in a timely manner. Definitely give it a go.

TLDR At Bottom

Highly recommend this game! Constantly getting new content all the time, well polished, and the developer is very interactive and transparent, and they really care! Great game to get active with, and an absolute must have for VR

Edit (9/9/2020): I've decided to update my review, because this game completely deserves it. The Game is still an absolutely incredible experience and provides a healthy alternative for working out. The developers have been working hard, and have been adding tons of polish to the game since it came to early access about a year ago. With a full release on the Horizon, I urge you to purchase this game while it is still at a low, early access price point.

The game runs great, and sounds amazing with the now finished soundtrack, and finished content leading all the way up to epic boss fights through the landscape. The game has several 'intensity' options that are easy to correlate with difficulty, but they are all accessible for all skill levels and player types. From the more relaxed experience, to a relentless experience where enemies show little mercy, there is a difficulty for everyone.

Combat is guided and incredibly satisfying, what starts as easy combat against fodder enemies, quickly escalates into epic battles with other Knights, and even larger enemies forcing you to dodge instead of stand your ground.

There are a lot of ways to play, and a lot of weapon combinations that are both viable and fun, letting players explore and develop their own playstyle that caters to their strengths or weaknesses alike. There isn't just one meta build that dominates the entire game.

TLDR:

If you like kickass music, getting active, and the idea of sustained progress and getting better at something until you're a god, this game is for you. It's something you have to play to understand.

If more guided combat isn't for you, then this game might not be for you, but I urge you to try it anyway, and take advantage of the refund policy if it truly isn't for you.

I will go over this in a standard pros cons format, with a general overview.

General Overview:

Hide or Die is another entry of Survival Horror, with an ambitious road map, and a committed developer team that has commitment unlike many I've seen within the Gaming community today. The game is definitely Early access, and is lacking some content and has some bugs, but the Dev team is arduously attacking bugs and making sure game performance, and network performance are tip top. It is only a 6 man team with limited budget, and the game far surpassed my expectations knowing that going in. It's a fun way to kill time, and play with friends in some high risk, high reward game play.

Pros:
-There's a mode for everyone, currently there is Last Man Standing (BR Like Mode). And escape, for people who want a more chill, but oddly intense experience.
- Creative ways to implement features in game, like the phone chat.
- Committed, Transparent Developer Team that listens to all feedback, seriously this is the BIGGEST Pro.
- Ambitious Road Map for Future Content within the next 4 months.
- Progression that helps you feel rewarded for Playing Well.
- No Microtransactions.
- Excellent Community.

Cons:
- AI Needs a lot of work, but the good news is there is a lot more to come with this game. New Variants, improved AI, etc.
- Limited Content in terms of game modes. Also a road map item.
- Some clunky mechanics here and there with combat.
- Some Optimization issues, but they don't affect everyone.
- New Player Experience definitely needs work.

Overall the game is definitely early access, and you should know that going into it. It's discounted at $19.99 right now, and that includes all content on the road map leading up to 2020 free of charge. At the very least, I recommend trying the game, as you can always refund within 2 Hours or come back later if you like. The game has a lot of potential, and a passionate Dev team. If you don't want to buy, I recommend keeping up with the games official news and Content creators, as that will give you a better idea of state of the game until you're ready to purchase.

Deathgarden is an incredibly fun take on an asymmetrical 1v5 game, that pits 5 runners against a singular Hunter who has power, and control over the situation at hand. Unlike a lot of similar games, this title from another team at BHVR captures true power in the singular role, as they ruthlessly hunt down Runners and execute them to eject them in this brutal blood sport.

I personally love Deathgarden, every game feels like a competition as Runners and Hunters alike compete for supremacy every game, the Hunter feels very rewarding to play after you get over the initial humps of learning the game.

Runners are outmatched and outgunned, but together they can overcome the hunter and escape.

The game pits 5 runners versus 1 hunter, and only 3 runners need to escape for a runner victory, and 3 runners need to die for a hunter victory. Meaning you win as a team, and you lose as a team, which takes away a lot of the frustrations of getting targeted or "tunneled" as some would call it within a game. The game is incredibly momentum based and it's a lot of fun, it really gets your blood pumping and your concentration focused as you try to thrive in these procedurally generated Gardens of Death. Below I'll list some pros and cons of the game that I found to be obvious, but I personally reccomend everyone at least TRY the game. As it is free for the next couple days as I write this review.

Pros:
-Competitive, interesting gameplay
-Hunter is a power role, and it feels good
-Procedurally generated maps keep the experience oddly fresh
-Has an oddly addicting nature, which I think is a good thing?

Cons:
- Lack of true progression.
- Rough entry for new players

TLDR:

Deathgarden is a very fun game, if you choose to give it a chance, give it a fair one, persist, learn, and develop, and you'll quickly find just how rewarding of a game deathgarden can be. It takes a lot more than a game or two to understand and really dive in and have fun. The community is generally very awesome so far, so come play in the Garden!
