#DontAskMeForCoins

The game went through a lot already in a year and it might be time to change my stance on this game. It saddens me that MTX is so prevelant in video games and is more acceptable than it was not that long ago, but Tekken 8 even with it being implemented, after some pushback from community to this day tries to find the middleground that will make players accept the state of microtransactions in the game.

Even though Tekken Fight Pass (battle pass of Tekken, that costs 600 of premium currency) was the thing, that pushed the bar for me with mtx in the past, because you had to buy more coins than you needed to activate it. It really couldn't get more obvious how scammy and greedy they were getting with some practices were trying to be.
At least to an already existing 600 coins in premium pass to get, they added additional 100 to free version of pass, which is of course not a lot, but at least the initial investment gave some return to those that bought it.

Tekken Shop that provides customization to your character and other stuff is not that pricey, if we look around other games with MTX, but compared to the past installments, there is really no comparisons due to no real world money needed to customize in those game, except for buying the game.

In spite of all that Tekken 8 with each patch that broughts new QoL and balance changes evolves into a fair (when it comes to the consumer), and above all fun and great game.
The continued support and passion from the Tekken Project Team really makes me hopeful for upcoming future of the game.
