Added ya because we have a lot of friends in common and they're all people whom I've known for awhile and know to be good, trustworthy players.
I mostly keep to myself however...I will probably not message you first and I'll never ask you for anything, so no worries there. :p I just like adding people because I'm still fairly new to gaming (just been playing two years) and having more friends means having access to more recommendations and more info on what games people are playing the most (and things like that).
