it's a really good game. wanted the reviews up because the devs deserve it! So, i didn't put much thought into this.

To be honest, it's better than I expected! I had to force myself to stop playing! A tutorial and sound effects & music would be good though. Excited to see how this game will change as the dev works on it!

trusted paradox and pre-ordered the premium edition to find out that the detailed looking, game of my dreams that combined XCOM combat with mafia management turned out to be a repetitive, boring waste of money and time (and dreams). It's one of those games where you have to say to yourself "i know this is boring af and feels like a chore but it'll be worth it in the end". It's not even worth it in the end.

It looks like it's a management game (maybe i fooled myself by thinking that) and that there's a business (mafia) you run. Better the business, more powerful you get. I was even more suprised to see in the trailer that there were dialog options and I was like "THERE'S EVEN AN RPG TYPE ELEMENT?" and no, there wasn't. It's not a management game + some combat, it's a combat game (and waaaaaay too repetitive, XCOM at least has a cool plot about ALIENS INVADING EARTH, cutscenes, characters you can customize and feel so bad that when they die you revert to a save because you care about them etc. this one just has different weapons that you only care about because of their stats and mercenaries that you can hire and don't really care about because when you care about them some dumb bug happens and ruins everything. im just ranting at this point) + something that looks like management but it really isn't, it's just an illusion.

i suggest buying this in 2021 or something (that is if they start fixing this "thing" and bring some good things).

P.S. Buggiest thing I've ever played (fallout 4 and Arma 3 are WAY better than this). One of i guess about a dozen game breaking (or immersion breaking or whatever you wanna call it) bugs were that I have to imagine my main character running to cover since they just glide like I was playing with toy soldiers (actually no, you can make toys waddle this one's even worse. just go play with some toys. trust me)

perfect game to chill to (except for when you're about to go bankrupt which happens a lot for me, i should probably turn the difficulty down)
