I am saddened to have to say: This is a crap port. One of my all-time favorite games nuked by a port that causes plenty of issues. Controller support? Nope. 60 FPS? Nah. High resolutions? 1600x900 max. And that's just the start.

The screens look rather choppy, the motions are sickness-inducing, and I ran into a rather odd problem where the game disconnects my mouse - this appears to be unique to this game as no others have given me this issue. The control setup also feels weird.

In the end, I fear a lot of the highly positive reviews are based on the game that Okami WAS for the PS2 and Wii, and not for what this particular port IS.

I have tried to reproduce the mouse issue on other games, but it somehow only happened here. I got no clue what triggers it, it's just random.

As for the controller thing, this seems to vary on case by case. And that is not how a game should be.

The 30 FPS thing is a pity but it's far from the reason why I leave this negative review. I love this game, and I really wish Clover Studios would've recieved more recognition for it...but I just can't abide by a very poor port.

For the point of saying it. my xbox controller doesn't work either. This is not an isolated issue. saying "oh but mine worked" doesn't change anything.

A: Wrong, it can go up to 1080p in fullscreen or borderless windowed, I have it set to that.
B: No controller problems here
C: Mouse disconnection, choppy screen? Sorry but that may be a problem specific to you

You can go 1920 x 1080 thats what I have it on, You need to make it full screen

My Xbox controller works for Okami and no problems.

Controller Support? Yes actually. PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 & Xbox One controller all work.

60 fps? Well, of course there's no 60 fps because it IS a port after all. Not a complete remake. They'd have to re-animate a lot of things and make drastic changes to the engine.

For the rest of the problems, it may be unique only to you. Sorry to hear about that :(
