Starting up the game immediately brought back memories of playing with my brother when we were younger. Unfortunately there isn't a "Hellgate London" without multiplayer. Almost every turn in the game reminds you that there should be people running around and questing together. Not this extremely large and isolated feeling world. Imagine asking someone for milk and cookies and they hand you an empty glass and tell you to have a nice day. Without multiplayer this game is unfortunately not the experiene that it is/was sold as. If multiplayer is added back to the game (as it has no buisness existing without it) then I will happily change this review, but as it stands... Save your money unless you enjoy wandering the dead, open landsapes of playerless mmos.

Until the resolution issue is fixed I have to give this game a negative review. Haven't even been able to play it because for some reason a game released in 2018 has only 3 resolution options to choose from which are all unable to be used with my laptop monitor resolution. The game is unplayable for me in this state. I understand that the game is a remaster from a previous title, but a remaster is supposed to fix issues and make the game more up to date for current gen systems, but instead they left an extremely important option (Since there are many, many different screen resolutions in current circulation WAY more than 3(laughable)) untouched.
