With the Infantry Combat Update (Squad 6.0) Squad went from a 6/10 to a 9/10. Character movement is much more fluid, although slowed down as well. and the rework of suppression allows for real covering fire and the feeling of "getting shot at". Slow combat pace really lets Squad shine in a squad to squad basis. Tighter groups are being formed, more teamwork is happening, etc. Many slander the update but they're also the ones complaining the game hasn't changed. Will always recommend squad.

Gaijin continues to drive the in game economy into the ground with increasing repair costs across the board. Free to play players will struggle to get any enjoyment out of this game tier 3 and up.

They listened! Gaijin released a roadmap with economy changes and has already rolled out a couple economy updates with great changes.

Okay so this is my first ever review. But anyway, I cannot recommend HW: Unleashed in its current state. The singleplayer campaign works flawlessly so far. So if you would just like to do offline racing while building your in game collection via loot boxes (with no micro transactions) then the game is absolutely for you. But I bought the game with intents on using the track builder as my main form of use. The track editor is very half baked and filled with various bugs and oversights. The main one is you can only race on player made tracks either online in public lobbies (two random player creations are available during map vote) or via private lobby online. The only way to play your creations offline at the moment is the Time Attack game mode under Quick Play. THERE IS NO AI AVAILABLE ON PLAYER MADE TRACKS! Also, trying to find certain creations can be miserably difficult as there is no search function. Want to try another go at the track you built before work? Have fun scrolling through hours of other's creations to find yours. Once the editor and how you can play your creations is overhauled, I'll be swapping to recommending. But for now, HW: Unleashed will be collecting dust on my virtual shelf.
