Community is cancer. and the game is not worth 10 dollars. wait for sale or purchase then refund it and keep the files.

A fun little aircraft to fly. now if they could have included a proper Garmin GPS instead of offloading the rest of the experience to a 50 dollar INTERFACE LAYER from RealityXP to adapt Garmin's publicly avalible trainer software to FSX, it would be an amazing addon.

EDIT: Turn on advanced animations and High Quality 3D VC, and turn OFF Engine automixture.

Only a bad review because valve abandoned it. entirely, the ingame Coop items store was a wreck and vavlve shut it down a little bit after release, No updates, this game is amazing and has so much content, but valve has abandoned it for no good reason.

EDIT, Changed to positive because they fixed the cubemaps. still no word on the workshop map publisher.

the devs release map expansions and general gameplay/customization mechanics as Dlc's instead of updates to the base game, which makes no sense, we are getting an incomplete product and have to pay to complete it.

EDIT: Still think its bull that most of the map is locked via dlc's that cost more then the game itsself when i purchased it. but i do recommend it.

500 Hours later, Balance is even worse now. Wehraboos everywhere, want to have fun? Play germany, Angle your tigor 30-45 degrees to become a nigh unpennable box. and boom, you've ruined 4.3-6.3 Matchmaking for everyone.

2465 hours later, its still ♥♥♥♥.

Really could use a facelift, is good if you can get some players or friends online with you.

Change the name to "World of Grinding".

Do NOT buy if you dont have a joystick. this is not any other game. there is no mouse aim(therei s mouse yoke but for the love of christ dont use it) or keyboard flying. you WILL need a joystick. you WILL want rudder pedals of some sort and you WILL need to do LOTS of tweaking to get it perfect. the default aircraft are bad so go off and get some decent payware. i recommend the DA20 for absolute beginners, its realistic and easy to learn although i would get it on sale.

My god they actually fixed it.

I bought KSP Back in 2013 during a christmass sale. and have managed over 1154
hours over the past 4 years and is still the most played game in my library by over 500 hours.

The interface is easy to figure out after a few minutes and building ships and planes is easy. the problem lays with making it fly correctly which took me about 20 or so hours in to figure out. trick is to keep the center of mass infront of the center of lift(toggleable by buttons at the bottom of the parts list) for planes and for rockets the trick is staging and having adequate control surfaces or methods like gimbling engines and fins.

The VERY Large modding community gives this game amazing replayability albeit at the cost of going through RAM like its water, and with literally thousands upon thousands of mods to choose from its pretty hard to put down once you get the hang of it[/i].

Not much to say in terms of graphics although there are many mods to fix that aswell as total conversions for realistic physics to planet sizes to recreations of Real life rockets and capsuls with indepth cockpits. modding is a strong point.

Being based off unity anything above a 4 core CPU wont net any performance gains in this. although Raw clockspeed will and with an app like CPUCores you can get some pretty good frames, which is mostly dependant on part count of the current vehicle/surrounding parts within physics load range.

+ Updated frequently
- Costly (40$ Offsale)
- Stock graphics and content is limited(Has plenty of mods to fill that gap)
- Based on unity so phsyics performance is limited


All in all i rate 8.5/10 if only due to the heavy price that it costs now and the small amount of content that comes stock


*Can be toxic at times especially when it comes to roleplayers. in addition to that the community moderation is trigger happy.


Edit: May 30th the breaking ground update came out, introducing several "new" things that already existed in the from of mods since atleast 0.90, and validating the fear that when KSP was acquired by TTI the core game would cease to be developed. Buy on sale only, and use mods in place of DLC.
