The lizard-doggo alone is enough reason to buy this game. But if you're looking for a detailed review, I shall also provide that.


Satisfactory is currently in development by the wonderful people over at Coffee Stain Studios who are probably most known for the creation of Goat Simulator. Statisfactory is a open world-3D factory game that uses a tier system and tree system to advance through each stage. You can choose up to (currently) 4 sections of the map to start on. Each provides different challenges in terms of production. I would say Satisfactory is for those who like factory games, not very action-packed games, and don't mind the stress of hearing your power system failing every 5 minutes.

Here is where I rate each aspect of Satisfactory based on my player experience. 0 = Low | 10 = high

Graphics
9/10 - Some occasional clipping and things like that but otherwise the game looks great!

Price
1/10 - Personally, I think you pay less than the amount of enjoyment you get in return. I've dumped way over half a thousand hours into this game and have loved every second of it. $30 is nothing compared to the fun I've had playing Satisfactory.

Grinding
3/10 - I'd say the beginning is a little grindy, but that is to be expected in the early stages of any game. You will have to gather the early materials by hand till automation truly begins (around tier 2).

Combat
1/10 - There are weapons and creatures to fight. This isn't an action game and never will be.

Exploration
7/10 - The map is big enough to have a value in exploring. You will eventually have to in order to reach new stages. The map is very beautiful so I see no reason not to run around and see what you can find. Every time I go exploring, I almost always find something new that I have never see before.

Audio/Soundtrack
9/10 - Futuristic + relaxed + inspirational = Satisfactory Soundtrack. No more information needed there.

Story
1/10 - The only reason I didn't rate this lower is because there is some story currently in the game. I'm sure the full story will be ready by 1.0 but as of now, you won't get much in this department.

Bugs
1/10 - Maybe some graphic issues here and there but I have not run into any other bugs while in single player.

Bugs (For Experimental)
9/10 - Its experimental. Expect bugs bozo.

Multiplayer
In my opinion, still pretty buggy and not perfect but to my knowledge, it is still being worked on.

Overall Gameplay
10/10 - This game isn't for everyone. Those who only like action and fast paced games will not enjoy this. Your adrenaline will not be pumping very much as you play a relaxed factory game but I wont remove points for that. You shouldn't buy a game that is meant to be chill and expect an action packed experience. Satisfactory overall is very enjoyable. It will take time to progress but you shouldn't rush things. Honestly, my very first time playing this game was amazing. I wish I could go back to the days where I had spaghetti belts everywhere and didn't care about efficiency.
