A more simplified version of Civilization with a few of its own quirks. Recommended if you like 4x games or Civ but maybe wants less micromanagement and mechanics to keep track off.

Lacks some depth and customization regarding your empire, units and religion if you care about those things. Also would recommend using some mods to get balancing right and make the game less cumbersome to play.

Overall, a decent variation on the civ-formula that is more focused on building and expanding with less strategy and plannning required. A nice more "layed-back" 4x game where u can just have some fun and not be too invested in the mechanics and needing to learn every little exploit or meta strat just to be competetive.

DO NOT BUY AT FULL PRICE! NOT WORTH IT!
Recommend buying at Kinguin or G2A for maximum 10 euro / dollar.

My favorite game of all time.

One of the best games I have played. The atmosphere, gameplay, pacing and storyelemts are all excellent and very engageing. I you are a fan of storydriven polce/detective games with plenty of action, investigating and puzzlesolving, this is THE GAME for you. :)
