The absolute best game from Telltale so far.

It does EVERYTHING right: the writing is stellar, the art style is perfect, characters are well developed and the plot proceeds at an amazing pace with almost no hiccups or plot holes.

It is incredibly funny and incredibly witty, clever in the way it uses the systems and the mechanics of adventure games to create jokes.

Surprisingly, it's also extremely action driven and even though the experience does not DRASTICALLY change from your choices (which is ok, otherwise they couldn't tell a coherent story) player choices do end up being extremely important as you proceed.

The entire experience had me cry, laugh, hold my heart in hesitation... an extremely powerful emotional rollercoaster.

After trying Batman EP1 and being disappointed, I was so pleasantly surprised to find that TFTB is not just a great Telltale game, it is a masterpiece in its own right.

Don't go in expecting traditional gameplay, but you should know that by now.

A compelling look at what causes people to feel desperate.

A fantastic piece of work, yet a very dark one. Shy away if you are in a hard period of your life.

While unnecessarily frustraing at times, Gods will be watching is definetely worth a try.

The most criticised aspect of the game - its randomness - is indeed a bit too punishing, but it's good to experience it at least once. The danger and thrill of dying during a Russian Roulette is something only this game can give you, and it'd be a shame to miss out on what GWBW can offer.

If it gets too frustrating, you can always select an easier difficulty.

In general I really enjoyed the game. The writing was good and catchy, the story offers food for thought, and the gameplay played differently than most of the games out there. It's nice how elegant and clean its system design is.

Give it a go, especially if discounted.

I hadn't been surprised by a game the way I just was by Her Story in a long, long time.

It has a brilliant game mechanic: you play as a detective utilising an old police terminal, and you can search for videos related to a ten years old case.

At first, you've only got one keyword ("murder"), but examining the resulting videos you discover more themes and words that you can then use to find more videos, that you can examine to find more keywords, etc etc.
As the story unfolds (in a totally non-linear way as there's no exact order you'll find the clips in) you start piecing together the events behind it, feeling like a real detective.

The writing is absolutely stellar. As you discover more and more elements, videos that were perviously uninteresting take on a whole new meaning, and little meaningless details start coming together to form a wide picture.
An absolute gem of a game, from the writer and designer of one of the best games of the previous generation. (Silent Hill Shattered Memories).

GET IT!
