This game is not nearly good enough to justify taking away all of your progress if you're not playing every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day.

Basically the game has a water system that resets all of your progress if your water runs out, killing off all your characters, taking all your stuff, everything.

Apparently the devs are steadfast on keeping this despite knowing the majority of players want it changed to something reasonable, but for me that's good. That tells me that it's good I got this game at a crazy big sale, and that this game is not worth getting invested in, because it does not respect your time.

This is an issue a lot of small games that feel they're more important than they are have. They decide that they're not going to be a game, they're going to be a job. It's why I stopped playing Ark, it's why I never gave Rust a full go, it's why I' and many friends of mine have dropped so many games in the past. We have jobs, we have responsibilities in the real world. Games like this have zero respect for that, so why should we show any respect to them?

It's frustrating because I'm VERY interested in the idea of playing a neutral party who's just hopelessly scrapping for supplies between two massive factions in a huge war, but this system is just the worst way to do it.

I absolutely adored this game when it was in Early Access. It was SUPER rough around the edges, the content was bare bones compared to what they were planning, and more often than not the procedural generation screwed you over which I consistently mentioned. But the IDEA of the game was fantastic, all it really needed was a fix here, a buff there, some more content and story beats, and replacing the fully procedural generation with pre-made rooms and roads, and procedurally placing those.

Then they announced they were finished with any major updates, and put the game on full release. And now it's clear they're straight up abandoning this game, and hoping that maybe the modders will fix it, pulling a Bethesda. But I hate Bethesda games, so now I'm stuck with a blatantly unfinished mess of a game that has no actual future beyond MAYBE small bug fixes here and there.

This isn't helped by the fact they have done NOTHING to fix that you'll have windows floating in the streets, or bookshelves blocking off doors making it literally impossible to enter some rooms, or the fact that multiple side missions will be something like "Find this person who has green eyes, is of average height, and has a job!" The ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to do with that!?

I'm sure the scale of the game turned out to be too much, and they felt they were unable to fully complete what they were selling, but the fact is this game is a broken, buggy mess that DID keep me enamored for a while, until the monotony got to me, and I realized that oh god, this is really it.

Is good game. You do the science, you survive the monsters, you poop in a bucket. Also some Russian dudes are there and they're shooting at you so you stab them with a lamp. Pretty good stuff.

The devs are now using AI in their game, and therefore I cannot recommend it at all.

Democracy wins!

Sony walked back on requiring everyone having a PSN and cutting off the game from the majority of the world, so we can recommend it again.

Love Democracy. Love shootin' bugs. Love gettin' shot by bots. Love runnin' around and dying for the upper class's bottom line. Love the lore. Super Earth fixed voting, it used to be so confusing with all those choices. I would just walk in the booth, count to thirty, walk out, shout "Democracy!" then run to my car.

This is the game that Starship Troopers should've had like ten years ago. Whoever owns the IP finally woke up one day and went "Hey, how come we haven't done this yet?"

16 players, co-op, dropped into a map, a ♥♥♥♥ ton of bugs, they are trying to kill you, they will kill you, when the objective is completed or failed, the shuttle will come for evacuation, HALF of you will make it to the shuttle at most IF you even make it.

The game is VERY early, so expect that if you get it now. It's damn good though.

This game is not some RPG on the same level as Warcraft 3, it's not some massive RTS with multiple factions, or multiplayer, or a dozen different modes to play. But the game does not sell itself as such.

This is a small scale RTS with only a campaign mode that knows exactly what it wants to do, and does it perfectly well. The majority of missions are great fun, and only a few feel like they drag on a bit too much or repeat what other missions did. And it is always satisfying to line up your troops in a bottleneck position to watch the hordes of bugs charge in and crumble apart, and it's extra fun when they send in a scorpion to melt your flanks, or suddenly flank your firing squad.

At its current state and price, it's an easy recommendation, and the fact they plan on making a road map to add more in the future is only a plus.

If you find a good team of people to play with and cooperate, it's amazing.

If you join a random server full of people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around, it's still amazing, depending on how important winning is to you.

I got this game with my brother and two of his friends, and we were having fun just shooting zombies... for about three days. Then we all basically got bored because it's not that fun.

I wanted to like this game, but it just isn't all that interesting. Ignoring the fact it doesn't have nearly the amount of polish or attention to detail as the Left 4 Dead franchise which these people are NOT in fact the sole creators of, meaning they're outright lying in the advertisements, the game just feels like a less fun version of Left 4 Dead, and a confusing and annoying card system doesn't change that.

I absolutely wouldn't recommend this game at full price. During a big sale, maybe? But if you're gonna try it, make sure you know you're more than likely gonna get bored by the end of the weekend.

I like the part where you farm stuff and then people talk to you uninvited. It's a good metaphor for wanting to be a recluse despite no one allowing that.
