I've not played V&V or ASL series as board games. My first try in squad battles is Tigers on the hunt which is good and challenging. I don't know their relationships but I soon find some similarities between Toth & V&V. Maybe it's not suitable to compare games, but the UI and graphics of V&V are pretty and it makes Toth look like some 20-year-ago game. However, V&V has no FOW and some mechanism. Also there are just a few scenarios.
So I do recommend V&V, but I admit I'm looking forward to a 'Toth in HD'.

OOB并不是那么严肃的兵棋，玩起来轻松愉快。当时是看见了抗战DLC毫不犹豫的入手了，现在已经打到了长沙会战。
然而并不能用国军，令人悲伤。
顺便吐槽一下AI感人的智商。
