This game should be considered as a game that elevate the gaming landscape.
Great gameplay, incredible soundtrack, delivered what was promised and exceeds everyone's expectations, packed with contents with no paid DLCs, and the list goes on!
Is it perfect? of course not. But for what it is, this is one of the best videogame ever made going by what we'd define as a "good game" by today standard. So yeah, give it a try.

One of the best action RPG game of this generation. The gameplay is very grounded and very rewarding if you know what you're doing. The level design while much more linear than older titles, it's unique enough to not feeling out of character and the inter-connected world is still as useful but with the warp-able bonfire from the get go, you won't use the shortcut much. The enemies while very Souls-ish but still challenging even for experienced player. Bosses are fantastic and no BS unless you do a SL1 run. But of course it's not perfect. The weapons are unbearably balanced it's practically weak thanks to the dev's prioritization to PVP player base. There's no narrative so if you're a type of person who expected a fantastical story then you might be disappointed, though the lore is everything so do the reading if your really desperate for a story or just go watch Vaatividya. The PC port isn't so good, I mean Sekiro's port is also piss poor, so imagine the game's performance that came out 3 years prior to Sekiro. But with all the nagatives aside, it's worth full prize. But be careful with the DLCs though, 'cuz there're even harder than the whole vanilla game, especially The Ringed City.

First of all, don't get this full prize, especially with all DLCs because without them you won't get more cool dinosaurs. the game is literally dead so either spend full prize on Planet Zoo or wait and see how Prehistoric Kingdom will turn out to be.
On a more serious note, the game is fine at best and dragging at worst. If you see other people comparing this game to mobile games, they aren't entirely wrong. The game required you to wait in real time to make any kind of progress. The gameplay is just management sim with heavily simplified features. It's not even anything above average it's entire thing is what a fundamental management sim should have in the first place, yet it's so shallow you can just play Planet Zoo and have a much better experience just no JP dinosaurs. But it's not all bad though. I have a theory that this game is a benchmark for Planet Zoo rather than a full ambitious project, so if the feature are lacking it's not the dev's fault. The dinosaurs while having some repetitive animations they're still look as good and realistic much more than any JP related game can have right now. The simplified gameplay while may frustrated many management sim gamers, it's so easy for new comer to got gud, and might be a starting point for new player who are interested in these kind of game, but honestly, go get Planet Zoo. I'd recommenced this game when it first came out, but 2 years had pass and after the last expansion and the Switch port they practically left the game on it's own. So either get it on sale, or Planet Zoo or wait for Prehistoric Kingdom.
