CPU utilization is constantly pushing 98-99%. No other game I own does this. I see this is a problem for a large portion of other players, and GGG has been absolutely silent on the multiple post with hundreds upon hundreds of replies stating they're having the same issues. This game isn't worth frying a PC over.

Trying to uninstall? Good luck! You'll see what I mean when you inevitably do it.

One of the few games where the performance has consistently gotten worse and worse since release, instead of better. Devs like to add new, unfinished, buggy crap to their already unfinished buggy game, while completely ignoring the glaring performance issues that everyone suffers from, every single day. They dangle new features in front of the easily-impressionable folks, like a carrot in front of a donkey, and these dorks just hee-haw and give the devs ass-pats for more incoming, broken features.

Take note: This is how you DON'T support your game. This is how you kill any hype you generated utilizing your one celebrity talking head in the form of Johnny Rico, by overlooking performance to release new untested, incomplete, broken features.

This game is just such a massive disappointment for something that should've been a home-run.

It feels like an old-school FPS, with a bunch of awesome new elements throw into it. Want to command armor? Do it. Want to provide CAS? Do it. Want to be a medic? Go for it. Want to order around your fireteam like Brothers in Arms? Play Squad Leader. Buddy got hit and needs a medic? Call in smoke and drag him into cover (if the enemy will let you get away with it...).

There are so many different major battle to play in, among the number of major operations they take place during. Operation Overlord, Stalingrad, Battle of Tunisia, Makin Atoll, Italy, you get to experience so many different theaters of war. Battles aren't the typical "capture point A, B, C", but more of a battlefield style push-and-pull for objectives across a large map, so gaining ground feels really good, and losing it fills you with a sense of desperation and a will to fight harder to get those precious meters of dirt back.

The weapons? They feel great. Bolt action rifles FEEL like bolt action rifles, smg rounds dont plummet into the dirt after 25m of flight, machine guns function like proper suppression weapons, and the sights are great. There are not massive chunky sights obscuring your field of vision while you're looking down the sights, you still have good peripheral vision with the majority of weapons.

All in all, it's an incredible WWII game with a variety of different roles to fill depending on what you enjoy. For the price, especially on sale, this is something you'll definitely get your money's worth out of. I can't believe I didn't know about this game sooner, I was missing out.

I haven't had an experience like this since being a kid and playing Dark Souls for the very first time.

My biggest gripe is that weapons are really starting to kill the experience for me though. A teammate can bring in a grenade launcher and just completely clear the entire map. He will 1 shot groups of 5 infantry patroling, destroy exos in a couple of shots, and it takes out the entire fantasy of being a scav and moving through the map using stealth and getting into gunfights where you can pick off a few guys while they're engaged and then slink back off into the shadows. NOPE GRENADE LAUNCHER GO BOOM LOLOLOL. We were sold on a fantasy of being underpowered. I never feel underpowered because some doober is lobbing grenades everywhere. The game really only feels like what was promised when you're playing solo and ratting around the map.

This game took notes from Helldivers 2. Not enough ammunition to make any ranged class feel fun, even once you have your weapons upgraded to relic status with the relevant perk points, you're forced to take certain weapons because they have some sort of ammo-sustainability perk that'll give you an extra few shots. Every fight turns into a scramble for ammo after about 15-20 seconds, you don't even get to feel the fun of being a devastator with the heavy bolter, because the heavy bolter is firing .22LR instead of a 40mm explosive warhead. It's like shooting is discouraged, and running/avoiding combat is the best way through. I bought a game called SPACE MARINE 2, it would be cool to do Space Marine things like fire an effective weapon into flesh and carapace.

Melee is just a mess. If you're not spamming an AoE ability on chaff, you're hearing endless sound queues for a parry attack from behind that you will NOT be able to parry. Over and over and over and over and over. Hope you like getting staggered and hit in the back constantly, because that's what so much of your time in melee combat will be.

6 Operations to grind for all your PvE progress. 6. 6 missions on repeat, over and over and over. Sure, there's a little variety in enemies, but it's the exact. same. mission. 6. times.

I really want to like the game, but it just needs so much more content. Cosmetics are cool, but that isn't content. Give us maps. Give us effective weapons. Give us the experience of being an actual Astartes, not a helldiver.

The PvP... the PvP. If you were a SM1 PvP enjoyer and/or loved Eternal Crusade... you're gonna hate this PvP. No stuns, no executions, just a slog of dudes running into melee, spamming light attacks while bolter fire rains into them.

Game is alright, you get to dress-up your barbi... Space Marine. Seems like this is where a massive portion of the effort went, dress-up.

I wouldn't recommend it, from a dude that loves 40k, SM1, and Eternal Crusade.

You WILL be placed in matches with people with better vehicles than you. You WILL be pressured into using your country's real life currency to buy virtual tanks to stay semi-competitive with the people you're placed in matches with. Seriously, the price of entire full-length video game for a single virtual tank. I just... what? And matchmaking? It's a joke. As a level 1 player, playing your first games, you WILL be put into matches with guys with thousands of hours, max rank, insane amounts of medals; You're there to be fodder, get frustrated by getting smoked by no-lifes, and then encouraged to spend cash in their shop in some feeble attempt to kill those guys. You won't. You won't kill them. You're just throwing cash into the fireplace.

Just take up drugs or gambling if you want to blow your paycheck with no actual gain, your friend's won't think you're as pathetic as if you play this. Feels like an old CoD lobby sometimes though, someone is getting told to neck themself every other game. good vibes.

Development team can't release a patch without breaking other parts of their game, as we've seen for EVERY patch released. Now we sit around and wait for more "fixes" and the new bugs that'll come with the "fixes." Again.

WARNO is a game made in France.

Aside from that, this game is incredible. I was hesitant coming from CoH2 about the "call in" mechanics as I was so used to base building-ish games, and now I feel like such a dummy for waiting so long. Skirmish games are a blast, and even though the game doesn't have the deck-variety that Steel Division 2 does, each deck feels pretty unique and fun to play. The updates have been rolling at a steady flow, so I strongly recommend it.

Thanks Eugen, for making a good game when so many others have been massive disappointments.
