After playing for years I've suddenly been asked to buy a premium account. I have not played 500 games, nor have I ever heard of this restriction. My friend who has played this game for the same amount of time can still play. This is a jank pool sim, with gameplay and graphics from a ps2 game... why gatekeep. ♥♥♥♥ devs

It's good. Can be quite scary, challenging especially during your first few runs, and extremely fun with a decent group of people. I hear the Discord is a great way to find people, but a couple buddies dropping a tenner on this is worth it. Great environmental and artistic design, the game looks extremely unique. It certainly has some issues, for me these are the sub optimal optimisation, and the god awful audio balancing. Seriously, I had to turn down my whole system volume as the in-game sliders may or may not actually do anything. You got all the audio, or none of it. And the default mic gain is WAY to high, making the majority of new players you run into a crowd control weapon with their sheers decibels. My ears. Hurt.

10/10 for a 10 dollar co-op horror experience in ea

EDIT It took me a little over 70 hours to finish my first play through. I had a lot of side quests still on the table that I never got around to, simply because I was so busy doing the main quest. This has been an extremely enjoyable experience, especially for a long time fan of the series. This game is hard, and I enjoyed the punishing experience of the veteran difficulty. I did have a few bugs which effected some of my main missions. Specifically the defending Zalissya mission bugging out resulting in it being disbanded, and an optional chance to bring a device to the Noonetide bunker scientist, but it simply wouldn't open so I skipped it. There are certainly some sections of the game which feel unpolished compared to others, but the overall package is so far and beyond the original titles. From the cut scenes, to the facial animations, to the environmental effects, this game has been a huge step up for the Stalker series. I really can't recommend this game enough. It is such an interesting addition to the original story, and has a TON of references to the old games. I can definitely see the modding community going crazy with the sheer amount of content the base game has to build off of!

The game is quite graphically demanding. I have the luxury of a 40 series Nvidia GPU, my specs consist of an RTX 4060 Ti 16Gb, along with an AMD R7 7700 CPU. My game defaults to all settings on high, and with dlss enable I get 140 FPS on average. In busy areas with many NPCS, I drop to a low of 90. I have had no issues with performance at 1080p.

Huge thumbs up to the devs dropping fat patches, fixes and changes already

Super good. Already great despite being fresh off a demo release. Some optimisation issues, lack of end game content, some bugs but still an EASY recommend for fans of village builders and survival craft games such Valheim.

Very promising start! The current release is quite buggy and barebones, but there is a constant stream of feedback for the devs. They clearly have big plans here, and I can't wait to see this game through its development. Definitely a good graphical update, the enemies and environment are already an upgrade over the last game. Though its a bit unfair to compare the two, seeing how early into development this is. If you are interested in getting your hands on some new ITR goodness, this is it!

Not for the weak

Yikes the UI is bad, can't quit game or go to menu, MP locked behind unskippable first chapter. Lots of technical issues, bunk ass controller support. How was this popular, got it for a few dollars this mess should be free

Excellent story, that when wrapped with mods such as Complete or Misery, becomes an immersive survival first-person shooter. The Vanilla game is not very solid but mods can really bring it together. Very fun
