If you on official server, you are basically doomed to lost everything unless you are using cheats and exploits as everyone else seem to use. You might build base on 0 pop server till one of them decides to ruin your day and especially comes here to delete you from map. But hey, he might flame you and give you -19billion mutations Mana after that. There is 0 watchover what so ever.
If you wanna play the game, make sure its on some server that will wipe... so ye ull lose everything too... but what can you do. At least it wont be by Rando cheated dino.

So... I would not Recommand this game to anyone AND I will not be buying ARK 2 either. Unless there is active player support IN THE GAME. DOING WHAT THEY SHOULD. Moderating a game.

Too many Mash monkeys, Cheaters, RMTs from dinos, equipment, base locations to a CHEATING BOT base deffenders xD.

Always... best game for some fun tense... Hit me up if you want some duo ^^
