Proudly Canadian, I'm a professional in the construction industry designing engineered floor and roof systems among other fun things. Applying my knowledge of building theory/design to helping others create more accurate level designs is something I enjoy doing -- this knowledge also makes me annoyed with seeing major flaws in custom maps (like stairs). In addition to consulting on the visual design of buildings I also like solving the 'puzzle' of optimizing source maps to run more smoothly.

As for my personal life, I am happily living in St. Catharines with the missus and our son Gavin! We sadly also own two cats -- weebles and wobbles -- as well as several PC's. Seems to be the staple of any intelliectual couple nowadays. We enjoy playing some video games together: Minecraft, Portal 2, and recently ARK -- that first day on the beach...oh god. I still have my own games I enjoy such as RTS titles like C&C Tiberium Sun, Homeworld, Civ and several smaller indie titles.

Banana History, well, that's another interesting tale heh. Once the site made the transition to FPSBanana and had a much easier way to upload content -- not just a forum with attachments -- I became more active. With the release of HL2 and CS:S I really got into the Hammer level design tool and created many 'test' maps for myself and then some maps for friends servers. I liked to make some rather abstract pieces in the SDK, that got me noticed around here and another older member (SGT_Kick_ur_Ass) made me become more involved by joining up with Half-Life Storm.

Becomining a moderator for the site started out small, I was asked to join the team to fix the old map submissions -- needed screenshots, information etc etc -- and then the position just grew to what it is now where I run the Content Department for all intents and purposes. I believe I'm one of the last moderators on the team that did not actually apply for the job but was asked :D I may not release as much content on the site anymore, but I've never stopped helping folks out with their own work.

Don't think that will ever change, I'm Lost and can't find the way out I guess :P
