I recently beat The Darkness 2 & beat The Darkness on the PS3 back in 2007,
I must say The OG Darkness is better than Darkness 2.

The Darkness 2 = Good The Darkness = Great

Im Glad they continued the series because The Darkness deserves more shine then what people give it.

Pros: -Story
-Story telling by Jackie himself
-Jackie/Darkness are back!
-All the Characters are Hella Funny & interesting Personalities
-The Darkness has cool upgrades on the skill chart
-Multiplayer works
-Johnny Powell
-Johnny Powell Relic Education
-Mob convos/drama/crime
-The Darkness is no joke/ Ruthless

Cons: -Comic book Cell shade Graphics (I prefer the First Games Graphics)
-Boss Fights seem a bit easy
- Less Freedom/Linear
-Not the same voice actors
-Developed by a different developer
-The Darkness looks & feels cooler in OG Darkness.
-No side missions/adventures

To be honest this game is Good/Fun & you should play it, the characters make the game & the Darkness satisfies.
I hope for a Darkness 3 game but I prefer Starbreeze Studios to Develope it & not Digital Extremes, Also maybe switch it up to 3rd person view.

DO NOT SKIP OVER THIS GAME!

I've played a lot of Military games in the past (COD, Battlefield, MOH, etc)
and none of the Stories in those games captured me, Spec Ops The Line is a different BEAST!
TRY THIS GAME & THANK ME LATER

PROS: -STORY....SOO GOOD!
-Graphics are not bad for the time it was released
-Sandstorms
- Online Co-Op Missions
-environmental destruction
-Headshots
-You actually care for your partners
-Commanding your squad to fire or cover you.


CONS: -Multiplayer is low teir
-Controls can be janky at times
- A lot of cover & shooting

SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCE IS WHERE THIS GAME SHINES, I HOPE A SEQUEL IS IN THE WORKS

Great game, didn't know what to expect.
Its better then i thought it would be, the artwork, music, and sound were great.
Subliminal Lessions to be learned in this game.

Great Game once you get the fighting mechanics down, its going to take some time to GIT GUD so hunker down.

PROS:

-2D Sprite Artwork
-Deep Fighting Gameplay
-Loads of content
-Trials Mode
-Will improve your 2D-Fighter IQ
-Music is great
-Terry Bogard Engrish 'Are You OK!'


CONS:

-Casual Players will have a hard time, Welcome to the world of SNK (GIT GUD)
-Story could be better
-Mouth's are moving but no voice-overs in Story/Arcade Mode
-Online is a Hit or Miss/Lag
-Where is GEESE!?

Don't overlook this game, it is a worthy game
