Like, with a passion. The fun is derived from finally getting the kind of run where you can leave every enemy with zero cards in their deck.
Count cards, savescum, take every advantage you're willing to use inside the game and out, because the quirky NPCs will never, ever play fair, and sometimes they won't even be playing friggin' Blackjack.

Take out Satan's kneecaps with your Bugatti™ BoneCruncher™ Self-Defense Vehicle Ram, then finish him off with your secret government laser cannon you welded to the roof of the same Bugatti™. Shoot a four story tall demon robot in the nuts and bolts with an autocannon. Kill children on sight with orbital satellite weaponry or good old fashioned napalm. Nail planks to a station wagon since the game doesn't use ones with wood side panels by default. Hold W while your compass points at N and nitro boost the whole way there. Land in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LAKE, IN THE DARK, AGAIN. Get salty and call in your recreational nuclear mech to just walk the rest of the way. Rinse, repeat. Something about survivors, too? Some kinda Caravan to send extra goods to? And like, foraging, fishing, hunting animals? Whatever.

Yeah that's fine I didn't wanna GO THAT WAY ON THE FRIGGIN' MAP ANYWAY.

On your patrols in the exclusion zone, you will occasionally be befriended by Tactical Wendigos.

Also there's a story mode where a character tells you to be careful while you two split up and you immediately start a fight with a hovertank on foot.
